Bullard is starting to annoy me at times. Do Bullard and Worell really have to have an in-depth discussion on how to pronounce the word "sophomore" when basketball is being played on the court? The players went up and down the court like four times as they were dicussing "sophomore".

 

We might as well have Ned Flanders brainstorming our catchphrases.

 

I like it personally. Bull is a great commentator, he needs to take over full time next season and clyde should be kicked to the curb

And really? Unoriginal? Unoriginal is calling Kevin Martin 'K-Mart'.

That drove me up the wall a bit last night, too.

 

Heck, I'm more bothered by Bull's unrelenting tirade against flopping. It's not that I don't agree that flopping should be something best kept in Europe, but that I'm just tired of hearing about it, especially when he's carrying on about a Rockets player doing it. Sometimes, he'll get on Scola for flopping, I'll rewind my DVR, and the play looks to me like it wasn't a flop at all, but just selling the obvious foul. I don't consider selling what is clearly a foul a flop. A flop is when you aren't fouled, but you throw yourself back like you've been shot. I'm not saying Scola never flops. He does, although not as much as he used to, but Bull is going overboard, IMO. There are times when it would be nice if the play-by-play guys would simply shutup and let me watch the damn game without the running commentary. I love Bull, but the dude should put a sock in it sometimes.

 

Make it a poll and let's see the CF's consensus.

It's soooo corny. But it makes me and my friends laugh everytime :grin:

I remember once we were just saying "I notice they quit saying 'Hey Bud, let's party!!", and right then Chase dunked on a fastbreak and Matt Bullard YELLED it louder than he had ever before.

 

it's fine, but how about also everytime Budinger misses a shot, Bull picks up his shoe & hits his own head, "Can you hear that? That was my skull!"

 

I really enjoy it, it was a pretty clever thing to come up with in my opinion he uses it a lot but i'm cool with it.

 

chill out man ur the guy thats always the grumpy one in a group of ppl havin fun.. uptight ass everytime Bill says 'hey Bud...' I finish the sentence with Bull 'LETS PAAARTY' its all good fun, keep saying Bill!

 

I am a HUGE Fast Times fan...know almost every line in the movie, but Bullard is killing me with that line. Terrible...
