These last few losses highlight the value of Kyle Lowry. We sure miss his defense and spark off the bench!

Yes we are trying to figure out our rotation with the new players added.

But without Kyle the opposing point gaurds are killing us, especially the small quick ones.

Can't wait this he returns 100%.

    Your thoughts?

His defense would help but not that much, we need size at the rim more than guts at the point.

The value of lowry is that he is a great decision maker while moving at the speed of light. Notice how the team has gotten really careless with the ball as of late. I miss him.

sure we miss Lowry, but i don't expect than his return helps the team THAT big because we lost Landry.

Not that much? For the entire season, bench was the reason Rockets were winning. Every starter lost points when they played, every regular bench player gained points. In the games without Lowry, every bench player lost points as well.

Carl Landry without Lowry was losing points big time. Not that much?

Even though Landry was the best finisher, It's more like the other way around.

Look at how Landry performed with/without Lowry: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=181726&page=1&pp=20

Sure enough. "Outplays his opposing PG almost every night" too dispite being dominated by opposing PGs in 4 or last 5 games without Lowry.

I think Temple is doing a good job. He plays solid defense and he is trying to be aggressive on the offensive end. I hope he gets signed for the rest of the season and let JT stay down in the valley.

I think Kyle is under appreciated by the majority of fans. Daryl Morey definitely knows his value, that is the reason he would come out and say he will resign him this off season (other than trying to drive away other suitors).

The Rox haven't been the same team in the last 2 weeks, starting with the loss of Kyle. I can't wait to see him back on the floor, he is my favorite Rocket at this point (though Carl was prior to the trade).

I think Temple needs to get secure and he'll be a good third, even second, PG at some point... he's got potential. But now isn't the time for waiting on it.

I think if Morey could only keep one of the current rotation players it would be Lowry. Just a guess.

No doubt and I have a feeling that Lowry far surpasses anyone on the team when Morey puts all those stats/formulas into his super computer to see who is really contributing to the team.

I would have to agree with you DD. I think Rick and Morey are hoping that one of the bigs will fill that need for us. Jeffries got his hustle on last night so that is a good sign. Hopefully having two days of practice time will help also.

Lowry does help keep us in it with his scoring off the bench though. We just need everybody healthy and playing right now to make this playoff push.

I have said this for a while, Lowry is the key factor for this team to go for the playoff. Without him, our bench is no long very strong, even Landry was not great in his last two or three games, not mention our leader, Brooks, his weakness was explored without the support from Lowry.

imo we are losing because we are missing both lowry and landry. landry - 2nd best finisher in the nba. (wasn't he ranked 2nd in 4th quarter points). if that isn't clutch I don't know what is.

Temple is doing ok, he just isn't Lowry.

Jeffries did a pretty good job last night, too...but he's not Carl Landry.

This team hasn't played well in 2010 at all, even though we had both of them for most of it, so who knows what's up...
