I say we do a sign And trade for bosh or Amare

    Something like these lines

scola, battier, jeffries, and pick or two

    for bosh n filler.

Then IMO we should sign mike miller. Thn we have just about perfect line up

    Brooks/lowry
    Martin/miller
    ariza/budinger
    bosh/Hayes
    yao/hill/Andersen

who would you want to sign for the mle

Lowry is taking most of our MLE. Miller will take Budingers minutes and Budinger is better. I would take Bosh if we can get him. If not there are some good rookies this draft.

Why would Lowry take any of our MLE? Don't we have his Bird Rights?

I will be shocked but not made if Lowry commands > $3.5 mil. per.

Scola I think earns the MLE easy. hands down.

the only way I see this happening is if scola stays, which I hope he doesn't, just for bosh though.

I don't want that Zero IQ knuckle head on our team.

Even Portland fans don't miss him.

Im not a Brad Miller fan but I think he would be a serviceable backup to Yao. We already have 2 mil + in Anderson, so unless he (Miller) comes extremely cheap I don't think he would be a wise investement, but a potentially good fit.

Definitely a must read! Yeah, if we resign Luis and Kyle (which I expect to happen if one or both aren't included in a sign and trade this summer) and sign a 1st round pick, we may not even use the MLE. The cost to Les is effectively double the cost of the contract, due to the LT.

Agreed. As much as I love Chase's upside at this point, Mike Miller would be a significant upgrade.

MIKE MILLER...however only if we trade C-Bud because in a few years Chase will be Mike Miller.
