J-Train, whatever makes you happy is the most important thing in your life. Screw other people and their thoughts, even though hypothetically, a guy named PhallusThomas might wonder about your preference in music. If you enjoy it (just like you enjoying the Rockets last year when they were NOT cool or hip at ALL!!), then ENJOY it. That's all that counts in life.
Life's too short to spend time worrying about what other ppl think of your musical tastes. I will say that I can't believe you have ceded total control over to the wife. You should do it like me and R2K's wife divvy up radio time....When I drive..I control the radio. When she drives, she does (or more precisely..my daughter does). She has learned that hard rocck can be good...and I have learned that most new pop groups really suck! BTW, I don't listen to Shania..but I'll watch them videos...she is one super-hot awesome woman!! :leer: I saw a pic of them Dixie Chickies once..they look pretty good.... as I use to say back in the day... "I'd Do Her Anyday!!"
