This is just a positive post in which I would like to see as many positive replies as possible. The reason I started this one is because at this very moment I have an overwhelming sense of happiness out of basically nowhere. Now if any of you can feel me on this subject, I would love it if you would reply and tell me exactly when and why you had an eye-opening experience that told YOU that life was worth living AND even more than that itself. For a little fellowship inspiration, I will leave you with this: You guys (and sparse girls) are the few people I have grown to know over the internet that I feel I can actually trust in some form or another. Please trust this thread with as much inspirational information as you can give

I'm happy that I'm alive. I had a dream where I died and I was a ghost watching everyone go on with their lives and I woke up quite depressed, but then I went and played tennis with some kid who had no business playing with me. I trounced him, and now I'm feeling better.
Best 2 days of my life My son being born and marrying my wife. Seeing my little boy smile makes me happy anytime.
I'm happy because I'm about to drive my parents to the airport. They are going to Europe for 4 weeks, leaving me, and my brother and sister home alone. Yeeeehaaawwww!!!!!
off topic but i want something cool like dtown333 under my name TOO!!! instead of that boring Member under my name. I wanna be part of the cool club.
I realized the other day, quite out of the blue, that each year of my life has gotten progressively better. Granted, I have had a bit of trouble so far this year because I graduated and can't seem to find a job, but that situation is looking up as well and as soon as I have one, things will get better. It's a good feeling to realize that your life has done nothing but get better and better. Kind of makes you feel like you made mostly the right decisions, you know? It's something to think about.
......its a beautiful world we live in...a sweet romantic place...beautiful people everywhere....the way they comb their hair makes me want to say......what a beautiful world we live in ...its nice to be alive..... someday, maybe tomarrow. ill meet a girl. and she'll smile at me. but this time ill talk to her. and she'll like me. ill make her laugh. and she'll fall in love with me. and vice versa. and then... i dont know.... thats the only thing missing really...
In a poor neighborhood, a NES was still new in 1996. So the games from the 80's are the games I grew up with, until my dreamcast
Life is good. P.S. great sig Sonny! That quite possibly, is my favorite line from any movie of all time. RIP Chris Farley!
Video game theme: I just figured out you can play the '92 Oilers on the PS2 Madden 2001 (it takes me forever to figure this things out) and I have been listening to Lauren Hill and Appetite for Destruction. Carpe diem! Say, there is a lot to love in the world, even the negative experiences in life. You will learn more about yourself and what you are made of when you faced with challenges and heartbreak. When my grandmother died a few years ago it really hit our family hard. She seemed like such a permanent part of life that it shook me to the core when she was gone. What I learned was that you have to cherish every moment you can with those you love. That is the most important thing in the world. I also learned that if you find somebody that is right for you..go for it! My wife was going to school in Baton Rouge when I met her. I was in grad school and working 40 hours a week and my days off were on Tuesday and Wednsday, but every week I drove out to see her and she is now my wife and I could not be happier. Um, Warren Moon needs my attentions against the Bills...sorry for the schmaltz.
I was a casualty of the economic downturn. It has been 3 months and no job. Then I looked around and saw that I have a wife who loves me, a law license, a nice place to live, plenty of food to eat...and the next part of my life when I find the RIGHT job will bring a tremendous upswing in my life. So I became not only happy but re-energized to meet my next challenge with vigor.
I'm married to my best friend...we laugh together...she's so amazing... My son is healthy...he has a great personality...he's already a sports and DMB fan! My family is all healthy and close by here in Houston...I have four nieces and nephews who are great kids...both of my parents are still alive...they were amazing parents...my father is my hero...my mother was always there for me. I have tons of friends from high school and college who are nearby....friends I grew up with since I was 6...friends I just met in law school a few years back... My practice is doing well...I love my job. The Texans start playing regular season games in about a month! I'm blessed....
