    Llull outscored him 38-12.

Also chalked up 16 assists, blocked Rubio twice and garnered 4 steals (3 from Rubio).

I might be slightly wrong, but if you don't watch I guess you'll never know!!!

llul looks better than Rubio to me. I think that kid Rubio is gonna be a huge bust. think he knows he ain't good enough too that's probably why he is aint coming to the NBA yet, even for the timberpups.

Watched a bit of it, Rubio didn't do much in the first little bit (but was orchestrating the offense nicely, no turnovers) the later had a nice drive and a floater that went in, and later had a beautiful pass in the lane for a conversion.

Llull did ok as a point guard and played off guard in some sets (with former NBAer Marko Jaric who looked good) Llull did drive and draw a foul, on that one play I was suprised as he had extreme quickness to the basket and also a very nice vertical.

people who dont see rubio every week just have no clue of this guy !
he is a miracle .. !@#!@ playing in a pro team since he was 14 years old but kept the progress of his skills with no stop.. if he wont be one of the top3 guards in the league(when he will come) it will be a total failure of the coaching team ... he is super stealer.. excellent ball handling.. amazing vision of the game and has a unique style !

I'll say he will be a bust. Has not convinced me enough to say he'll be better than good or great.

this is why he is the point guard of a team that can compete with almost every nba team .. in europe they are humiliating every team they compete with

I think Rubio is going to surprise a lot of people. He might not dominate in the traditional sense, but his team is going to have great chemistry and nice offensive rhythm. Kinda like Stephen Curry in that he won't force the issue and he'll let the game unfold naturally.

And in the NBA every team would humiliate them.

I watched the game and Llull out played Rubio slightly but Rubio showed signs of good passing and blew by Llull once. Llull drove to the basket well and pulled up for jumper as well as hit an NBA 3 from the side. he didn't start but might have been there best player. Better than Marco Jaric.

Overall Rubio looks like the better NBA prospect. But it was hard to evaluate the game because over there it seems to be a total team game so they don't isolate too much and Rubio or Llull never handle too much outside of bringing up court. Both guys are always looking for the open guy to get into there offense so once that happens they may not see the ball again. Llull is definitely quit enough to play in the NBA and looks better than aold NBA vet named Jaric. But Rubio is the better talent especially considering he is much younger.

Oh and big thanks for the feed Worzel. I was looking for more footage of Llull all over the net.

Actually that was my sense of both Llull and Rubio. They both play team basketball and don't force anything. Rubio is clearly the better passer but llull is a better defender and maybe the better shooter. Rubio gets the edge going to the basket although Llull is no slouch at getting to the basket but Rubio is better at finding the open guy like Nash as he goes to the basket.

you can't forget that rubio is a master of steals.. i dont know about his statistics this year but from the years before..

and if they can route the ball in offense to a all team game this is great ! you dont see PG like them every day.. i can note D williams \ S Nash \ C Paul as the best example for real PG's

Llull is better believe it or not. Rubio is young and as he grows will only increase his IQ, but the skill will remain the same. Who was the last great point guard to ever make it to the NBA from overseas that had a stellar NBA career who was hyped up in that sence? Untill he shoots better or defends better he wont last long in the NBA. Chances are the hype that surrounds him being as such players of Nash or Stockton and i seriously doubt that. Navarro was considered as such and Calderon, Navarro left and Calderon has sucked and is only around because of that contract. Players over there know they are in showcase mode. Can he help a NBA team? Sure, but no way is he on those players levels.

Let's be realistic, Llull will never have the skill level of Rubio. And of course Rubio will improve his skills, like Llull will do. Shooting range, mid range jumpshot...

Must consider he's playing on a superb team. This Barcelona is better than last years', here Rubio doesn't have the same role he had in Joventut being de go-to-guy, so don't expect huge stats from him, the team is just too talented in Europe.

Well unless Nash retires before Rubio comes, i don't see Rubio being better than Paul, Deron/Rondo (take your pick), or Nash. So based off of your reference, any NBA team that gets Rubio will have a total failing "coaching team"

I really can't wait to bring this guy over. I hear he's a great 1 on 1 defender.

Yeah and that's a rarity in the next gen. of PGs Defense.
ex: Rondo, Rose ( sorta can play D.)etc.
