Tracy's representatives asked for him to be traded, so indirectly he asked to be traded. Granted, Adelman gave him no choice but to ask to be traded because Adelman had no desire to give him significant minutes.

Give him a few more games to get used to the new uniform and he'll be the Hero everyone wants him to be.

Same old Tslack. I can certainly understand a fellow getting tired at the end of a game when it's his first serious playing time in a year but it's just sorta funny how the game summarized his career.

Start out hot, get hopes up, get cold in the clutch, team loses and then make excuses to the media. Little do Knicks fans know they are in for a lot of this in the next three months.

Fatigue is an excuse. he had played 46 minutes in 12 months prior to that. any normal humanbeing would be in the same state. unbeliveble extent some people will go to bash the guy.

Now now.. comparing Kobe to Jordan is often unfair. Comparing MerGady to Jordan.. that's just sinful.

    Calm down, Nancy.

The point is valid. This one game was expected but you can't dispute the fact that his career is defined by games like this. When he does this in a month will you still cry for him?

Missing two free throws with a minute left isn't consider getting cold anymore?

First off, I am glad Tracy is actually getting a chance to play. What this trade said to me is that Yao is not to blame here for all these years off empty promises and everything is on you mac. Fine so be it. It is what it is. I just think the defining moment will probably be three years from now. The Rockets will not make the playoffs this year. They have to many blackholes on this team "Aaron and Ariza". Yao comes back we can really get a good read of this trade though. To me Yao was always the problem. You don't get anywhere in this league if your big man is soft. Even Kareem had had a mean streak in him. I just don't see it in Yao. Mac haters I guess you guys are really people that loved him and when he got hurt it's like he f***ed your wife or something. Chill he's human just like us. It's like the Cowboys they expect greatness and they get rid of coaches and certain players and their main problem is their golden boy(Tony Romo). Just think about it last year when the Rockets lost ganme three to the the Lakers after stealing one on the road. we should have went up 2-1 and Yao could not change the game in any way. A matter of fact the Rockets played better without him. Your game should not be shut down when you are fronted enough said.

one thing that you have to admit is impressive, is that the tracy only fan stays around here ready to jump off a cliff for him.

Yao gets hurt this season, the yao fans kinda went on vacation.

    Exactly.

Can see if its some T-Mac lover with lust in his eyes starting a dumb thread, THEN the haters attacking to put a stop to it.

This is a smear campaign done all by itself without any direct cause for it.

that's pretty interesting. i wouldn't say 'hater', i would say critic.

I was on the side of tmac during his houston days, but because of the various reasons (obvious) that happened plus the lack of success, I changed my opinion of him.

AntiSonic was the poster who figured out McGrady first.

you people are amazing... the guy isn't even in houston anymore and you still gotta bash him. he clearly busted his ass to get back in shape and all he wants to do is play. seems to me like he's still got some of that magic in the tank. im not looking forward to the day we play the knicks...

Flame me all you want, but its the truth. Im thinking Mcgrady right now, is better than any player we have. Including Yao. Just never gave the guy a shot. Of course its been one game, but I have a feeling he will keep this up.
