Finally, some concrete info. Some guy from Reliant (sorry, don't know his name) was on Ch 2 today and said that Reliant has put in a bid for a basketball regional in 2006 with the hopes of hosting a Final Four in 2008. They are going to have a tripleheader basketball game with some big teams, Texas, LSU to name a couple, this November. They are going to use these games to showcase the stadium as a major basketball venue. 2004 Super Bowl 2004 MLB All Star Game 2006 Regionals? 2008 Final Four? Htown is becoming a major player again...and I LOVE IT!! os
and don't forget the WNBA. It's hard to believe they waited this long but I think once the arena was approved they wanted to wait for it. os
