We know JVG was a disciplinarian, but tmac loved him. Others like swift probably did not.

RA is known as a players coach, but we have seen him hate on certain players like Tmac, Bonizi, Francis, Etc.

Rudy did pretty much cut max, but what could Rudy real do in that case?

Can anyone think of a player that talked ill of Rudy T?

Not sure Thomas Hamilton liked him all that much.

Well, I think Steve Francis wasn't too fond of JVG...as for RudyT, it's hard to hate a coach who guides a team to two championships.

    Well, no one choked him.

No one knows what goes on in the locker room, most interviews are probably screened by public relations, and you'd hope a grown man can keep his mouth shut to the media, especially making millions of dollars a year.

I think it would be hard to find a coach where every single player on that team likes him.

They may rest respect the coach but not necessarily like them.

Preaching to the choir. Adelman goes far beyond merely being a bad coach who can't make substitutions into being a disruptive force that actually causes the team to make bad trades to assuage his ego. I've been saying this for a long time but people wanted to praise him for our good start. At least JVG got the best out of our players and worked with what we had instead of getting the team to make lopsided trades for players who would fit his "system." With JVG at least players knew what the rules for and he was totally no-nonsense. Adelman just plays games with people.

Adelman didn't have a problem with Bonzi.

Kobe Bryant didn't think much of Rudy T. Not that he hated Rudy, just didn't think much of him.

Kenny Smith and Rudy got into a shouting match on the bench when Rudy started Sam Cassell in the 2nd half and didn't tell Kenny.

Rudy T was called a players coach, sometimes I think he tried too hard to appease his players especially the big names.

Francis and Cat tried to recuit Yao on their mission to fire JVG.

The T-Mac-Orlando trade gutted the team.

Yes, Kenny Smith had a definite problem with Rudy T. In an interview, Kenny Smith said something to the effect of, "I think Rudy T's always had something against me. This has been going on for a long time..." I wish I remember the source- all I know is that it surprised me because he said that he and coach never really got along and he thinks that Rudy never really respected him as a player. I would never write something like this if I wasn't totally positive I heard it that way. Maybe it's different now, but he definitely said it back then.

I'm a jVG supporter but I think you're definitely on crack. JVG wasn't perfect, his lack of offensive knowhow is a big reason why we always lost playoff time. RA is definitely stubborn but to paint him as someone like Don Nelson who just plays with players for the heck of it is ridiculous.

No, we lost in the playoffs because we had Rafer manning the point and Juwon Howard as our 4.

I not sure that was the case. Thomas Hamilton just like his Two Sandwiches more.

Its quite a feat that with the awful management, terrible coaching, and scrubby players we've put on the floor, our team still managed to get past the first round last year and be above .500 this year. Don't you think?

The way you put it, you'd think our team is languishing in last place.
