Yup... thats what i try to tell em.. Truth is i dont think he really wanted to even be in Houston since his first year. There was only 3 teams he wanted to be traded to. Indiana, Detroit, San Antonio. Houston was a deal that was the best for Orlando to take on and he did not have a choice, but he tried picking his own destination and out of all the offers on the table Orlando picked where they believe his best destination is based on where they stood and what was the better deal on the table. This time around its where he thinks the best destination is and where it can help the team he's going to by hopefully screwing over the team he's leaving. Back then look at who was pulling for the deal. JVG, at the end notice the 2 teams (the one who traded him and then the one he was traded to) both Houston beat in the finals.
I got to agree with you there...I voted that adelmen 'ran him out of town'. cause that is what i believe happend. I actually support adelmen doing this. Not a hate on tmac. But which coach could take the stuff the tmac put on here last season? I believe that the job of the player is to listen and execute the plan drawn up by the coach. Tmac's actions really brought this upon himself. IF tmac is back to his old self, then we did just downgrade. But a team needs order. Imagine if someone at ur work did what tmac did, would your boss keep him around? It does not matter how good he is, a bball team is like a functioning company, u need order, comitement and discipline from your players inorder for the team to function properly.

Come on... We weren't playing him because he wasn't ready. And he wasn't. Until recently, he's been getting very limited and spotty minutes. It took him what almost a year and a half and now he's playing decently.
Are you kidding me? A year later, you're going to post about McGrady having a 20pt game. Especially one where he shot 8/19 to get to his 20. His season high is 22 and he's had only 3 20 pt games. He's playing for the 17-28 Pistons for the Vet's Min after being rejected by the Knicks, Heat, Clippers, Bulls, for the same amount in the off season. You're comparing that to... "Under Coach Pat Riley, the same "injury prone" Tim Hardaway immediately became the starter, was either an All-NBA first or second team member for the following 3 years, and led the Miami Heat to the playoffs for the following 6 seasons. " Really? Amazing...
Its not about his scoring, it's about the fact the Adleman betrayed it as if he was done as a player overall and couldn't help the team last year which tells me he was more intent on holding a grudge for the petty incidents the prior year rather than focusing on implementing him into the team using his playmaking ability, especially with brooks being more of a scoring pg they would have complemented each other better than battier and ariza and would have gave us a better chance at making the playoffs. Of course he's not the superstar he used to be so I don't expect him to turn around the pistons record completely, but I knew he could very well return to his 08 form when he led us throughout the 22 game winning streak and to the playoffs with his ability to make players around him better from the attention and double teams he draws.
He got hurt in his second game with the Knicks playing starters minutes. He wasn't ready, get over it he's gone
I'm sorry, how many teams wanted T-Mac this offseason, and what kind of contract did he get. On top of that, Kevin Martin + JHill + Picks for Tmac + Landry, is an absolute STEAL no matter how you look at it. Get over it whether Tmac was run out or not, the guy had worn out his welcome in Houston to most if not all Rockets fans.
Seems 100% on point to me. He's no where All-Star level. He isn't a scorer yet is still taking 19 shots to get his rare 20 points. Adelman didn't hold a grudge for "petty incidents," Tracy had a terrible attitude, and wanted to play even though he was no where near ready. He proved that with the Knicks. Now after being rejected by other lottery teams he's playing for the Pistons. He's still a good distributer and playmaker, but he's also still walking up the court, standing around, and jacking up bad shots. It wasn't just Adelman tired of piss poor attitude, it was the entire Rockets organization and as you could tell by the boos he got when he returned here, the fans.
Wow, I can't believe some people here think the T-Mac today is the same T-Mac that was part of the 22-game winning streak. I'm not an NBA scout, but from what I see... they're quite different. Maybe T-Mac supporters can tell me how they're comparable basketball players?
He's not back to being tmac, but he's definitely improved. He's willing to create contact now and that's helping him make up for his lack of explosion. As much as he's been hated on, one has to give him props for keeping at it, rather than throwing in the towel.
