[Video] Kevin Martin enters game, scores first basket as Rocket

The teams both lost. The point is moot. The player who plays well is the player who makes his team win.

 

Tmac was also a career 45% shooter before he came to houston. you cant just ignore martins current season terribleness

I can't think of a circumstance in the past where I was impressed with a player after a 3-for-16 performance.

He's an outstandings scorer and will obviously shoot much better from the field the vast majority of the time.

His ability to draw fouls is uncanny. He and Lowry give us a potent combination of foul-drawing machines on the perimeter.

 

At this point, I definitely think it will take longer than that.

 

tmac played the better game tonight but is he gonna keep it up. Last year he returned againest the thunder and scored 28 and we won in overtime by 1. then he pretty much sucked from there. Its what chris webber says you'll feel great in the begining but as the end it'll wear you out

 

I think Tracy's first couple games with Houston he was rusty before he caught his groove his first season. Give Martin a couple games to adjust to his enviornment and teammates and he'll be just fine as long as he's on the court in uniform.

 

Kevin Martin is a good reader on defense. He's more of a ball hawking safety than a shut down corner. His offense will come around. Let him get some more practices under his belt and develop some chemistry with the team.

Not only did he travel, he was out of bounds. Or atleast it looked like it from where I was sitting.

His first games with Houston were under a different coach with a completely different set of players.

If anything, you should have made the generic statement that "new players struggle in their first few games with a new team."

kmart didn't shoot well today, but he's simply a scorer. hopefully kmart can diversify his game a little bit. he'll play better no doubt.
