Come on son. If you're going to make illogical assertions, at least make them somewhat believable. When did I personally say this guy was washed up?

Secondly, had McGrady done what he was told, what's to say he wouldn't have won back his spot?

It's his false sense of entitlement, that's what. I don't blame him for that and I wish him well in NY (especially because it can help the Rockets indirectly), but I don't have any sympathy for him. HE chose this route.

Well, that and him quiting on the team, and having been perenially injured, and refusing to rehab correctly, and having one of the worst type of surgery for an NBA player, and prefers to talk to Stephen A. Smith rather than Morey/Adelman.

But yeah, convince yourself that the Rockets fans only turned on him because of one 7 minute stint.

tmac has to be dead tired out there. helluva game for someone who hasn't played in a real game in quite a long time.

You're wrong. D'Antoni has made the Conference Finals twice. In 04-05 and 05-06 with the Suns. Get your facts straight before you go on a rant next time.

I don't know why so many people are freaking out. Frankly, I expected T-Mac to go to NY and still play well. Am I sorry we didn't play him this year? Nope. He was a distraction and we never won anything with him. I'm glad he's playing well tonight, hopefully he can keep doing so. It doesn't make Morey or Adelman idiots for trading him. I think it's fine for everyone to move on, and everybody's happier. Can't we leave it at that?

Now you're just being silly. You are bitter and are unfairly blaming a legendary coach. This trade will help the Rockets in the long run (ie: an aging McGrady that wasn't effective vs. the chance of a mega star via trade this offseason/better assets around Yao).

And before you attack my "aging McGrady" comment, I'll say it one more time:

    THIS IS ONLY ONE GAME

    This.

I will never understand why they didn't give him more of a chance.

We would have McGrady back yeah, but we'd probably only have half our win count. Princeton offense got us our wins and made everyone who bought into the system more effective.
