i wouldnt blame adelman... i'd blame morey/management. they really were going in a different direction (aka going younger). didnt want him to get injured again and us not getting martin.

    he's doing good so far.
    10 points already.
but he's slow and already lost his hop.
i'm glad he's not in our future.

hope it's just rust and that he's not truly a step slow forever. otherwise he'll have to develop some offseason moves like kobe

    He looks horrible on D...
Looks like he's still getting his legs back...I didn't see the first quarter, but second quarter a TO and missed 5 footer...

I see everyone here praising his defense but I just don't see it! The entire teams isn't moving well on defense. TMac has been doing alot of watching down low and is slow to recover on the perimeter

Nice reverse layup by Tmac...he's still got a good scoring touch...just don't know how he'll be after a few games. Hope his knee responds well.

His offense is good but not great yet he might regain his swagger after a game or two. But defensively the OKC is making him look serviceable with poor playmaking

i'd say that mac is having a great first game in 1 and a half years except for that missed fadeaway 7footer of course

He didnt touch the ball Durant just lost it (watch the replay) I'm not hating I'm just giving what I feel is an honest opinion. I was and still am a TMac fan and honestly he looks slow and lost on defense

true statement... OKC has been double teaming him from the start and he still has that playmaking ability.

Well, after many years McGrady is playing for a coach who really doesn't stress defense all that much. And his effort on that end has gone from poor to non-existent. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise.
