I would hope that we would be more civilized then we were then, but some of the laws and powers that I see the government shooting for are quite frightening.
All of the good doctors are Muslim? Are you high? There are many fine physicians of Muslim descent, but there are a lot of good Jewish doctors and Christian doctors as well. I really hope you weren't serious.

Good article. But it will never happen. Detaining Taliban Walker and the Hispanic bomber is a long way from saying 'ok, all Muslims on the bus for a little ride to Camp Wonderful. Maybe I'm being naive, but I have complete faith that the public would mobilize en masse against any such move if it actually looked like a serious proposal. Both the Left and the Libertarian Right would be against such a move. The moderate center would undoubtably join them.
You're right. This will never happen. I don't think there is anybody left, center or right that supports this.
I thought that phrase meant that investigating their pre-internment activity turned up nothing, not during the internment ... ?
