Sac will definitely take the option for next year. Question is after a year with Sac (assuming he is not traded) will he want to return to Houston?

And love letters. Didn't work too well for Rashard Lewis and Gortat though...

By next year, you will love Jordan Hill and you will forget Landry.

    I miss Landry's grit though.

He's going to want a contract double the one he has now, at least 6 million per year. I think around that time, we wont have the money available for that

If I could somehow demote you that would be awesome, because you deserve it. The man was just about on pace to be the sixth man of the year, but that doesn't fit? A high energy guy that has some serious skills doesn't fit? Amazing, just because he isn't a rocket anymore stop trying to vilify the man, you don't fit in this boards' plans.

Then he'll be another one of those greedy overpaid players who sold out instead of signing with us to win.

Rox is not going to do that, they sent Car away because they dont wanna offer more to him in the future.

You're still in phase 3 of your grief, Bargaining.

The good news is that you only have 4 more stages to go before your grieving process is complete.

The bad news is that depression is the next stage. But you can do it. I'm pulling for you.

I'm not in grief, I'm happy with the trade, but I loved having Carl Landry in Houston and would like to get him back somehow.

Your asking the wrong question, you should be asking:

Possible to reacquire Tracy McGrady in free agency??

    ;)

The only way that happens is if Hill turns out to be a failure.

Do you want him to be a failure?

I love Landry but people need to get over it. HE'S GONE.

I love his scrappyness, hustle and heart but I want Height and Length from the PF position now.

It's highly unlikely considering we probably won't be able to afford him, and there was already bad blood w/ his agent before this trade. Even so, I still have hope. We have a way of getting back former players. Never say never...

As much as I REALLY like Landry, I don't want us to have a go at Landry by again underpaying him. It's a bit disrespecting, and he could definitely get more with other teams. We have to accept it and let it go

But I really hope he comes back though :(
