Olbermann - All White People in this country is a RACIST

But I'll take Olbermann and his rare f*** ups that he immediately apologies for, corrects, or outright retracts, over 99% of the other cable and radio windbags.

 

MSNBC is more biased than Fox news. To each his own I guess.

 

Winger commentators like Olbermann can be really stupid.

They can also have a point (see: Maddow on the bailout and Republican hypocrisy). However, here, Olbermann has no point and he is being stupid.

 

ehh.. i think he has a point to an extent... there will always be some prejudice and that's just the way it is. I believe deep down in most peoples hearts they simpathize more to the plight of their own people because they relate. To an extent I think that ALL people are racist, that's just the way it is. That said I don't think it's anything near the magnitude Olbermann makes it out to be. even so I'm glad he can call himself a racist, or does he exclude himself from the conversation.

In all seriousness, I agree with you, but it depends on how you define "racist". If you take it literally, indicating you think your race is superior, then I disagree and not everyone is a racist. However, I think everyone does have some sort of stereotypes they may see for another race, not necessarily indicating inferiority, but exhibiting some potentially annoying quality you wouldn't typically find in your own race. But that's not racism unless you truly think your race is the superior one.

olberman makes a good point until about 4:30 in when he says the only reason people could possibly be anti-obama is because they are racist. That is ludicrous... I wouldn't care what color race or religion he is I don't agree with his policy and frankly his ideals disturb me.. how does that have anything to do with the color of his skin?

 

Good point. I can't see videos either, and all I see in the quotes in the OP is "prejudiced," not "racist". Could just be a basso addition.

The words, while similar, are not quite the same.

 

he basically says from the begining that we are all predjudice and untrusting of the other side.. blah blah blah.. which I agree with to an extent... than he says that the only reason that people don't like Obama is because he is black.. and continues on about how racist everyone in the tea party is and anyone who doesn't like Obamas policy just doesn't like it because of his skin color.. it goes down hill pretty quickly actually.

 

yes and no.. he starts by saying everyone is predjudice somewhere in their sole.. he only uses the term racist when it applies to not liking Obama.. and goes on to attack the tea party as a racist organization (seen alot of black and mexicans at the rallies i go to)..
