I think he'll start and send Battier to the pine.

But the main question for me is.......can he avoid major injury?

What a waste of bandwidth... Of course he is going to start. Is he going to start over brooks? No, he isn't a point guard.

That leaves two options: he will start over battier or ariza. It's a lot more likely that it will be battier. You really didn't need to make a poll over this.

He's starting at SG. Absolutely zero doubt about that.

The question is who goes to the bench? My bet is Battier even if only because he seems more mentally capable of handling it.

Battier probably sits, though it would make more basketball sense to pull Ariza off the bench to go against the other team's subs.

I would like him to be our sixth man, that's the way he will help the team most and hurt it the less.
Once he shows he understand all our offensive and defensive moves he will start. Probably within 10-20 games.

When you click on the poll to see who has voted, a lot of Tmac-related monikers have disapeard.

    This is a good thing.

He won't replace anyone as we haven't had a pure shooting guard in a while.
Kevin Martin however, once he settles in should quickly take over as the starting 2 guard.
    starters for the playoffs:-
    Lowery Temple
    Martin Brooks
    Ariza Battier Buddinger
    Scola Hill
    Y Ming Anderson Hayes

Kevin Martin will start for sure. Lowry is better playing with Kmart in theory. AB is better to show some playmaking skills, otherwise, shift him to 6th man.
