Maybe Kevin Martin should go ahead and trademark K-Mart like Pat Riley did Three-Peat. Then he could ban its use completely and be done with it. Unless, of course, the superstore objected and sued the crap out of him...
Oh, well, yeah, so that means actually Target >>>>>>>>>K-Mart. Cause Target kicks Wal-Mart's butt simply by NOT being wal-mart. Can't we just call Kevin Martin Target?? He's always on target. Also because he's better than K-Mart. And so is Blackhorse.
What if Kenyon Martin and Kevin Martin were on the same team? Or playing against each other?(My money is on KMart's team) Edit: And KeLvin Martin was the first KMart, before either of these 2 guys were outta diapers.
It's lame to re-use a nickname ...esp if they are both still playing. Only one Dream. One Dr. J. One Magic. ...but if you think it's cool to re-use nicknames, you go boy. Those that know better, will just smile and nod at you to be polite.
Quite right ! We should be respectful to our new player by calling him by his own name or by his own nick name. KEVIN MARTIN KMART is the name of a player who playsfor Denver. For example we would get very upset if another player named Hakeem Johnston was given the nick name of Hakeem the Dream...............
Hey Yetti, what does it say for Kevin Martin's nickname on his bio page here? http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kevin_martin/bio.html
His nick name is 'Speedy' If we call him KMART then we think of him aa KMART of Denver. KMART OF DENVER has a horrible disposition and personality. Speedy Kevin Martin of the Rockets is a fine upstanding young sportsman, a very different personality indeed.
No actually it says K-Mart but yes he has also been called something related to speedy, just not on NBA.com. The problem is that even the fans in Sacramento call kevin kmart so it will be our job to find a better nickname. And speedy is not a good start.
I'm not a fan of using the nickname kmart either, I just don't think members should be so hard on others for using the nickname. Anyway, how about the nickname Tinman or Tin Man?
