Holy SHIZZ i seriously think you are on to something...and i think that the reason hurley wasnt with Flocke was becuz he is in the temple and maybe Flocke cant get there, that is why it skipped to sawyer. I can really see something major happening with Sawyer soon...possibly dying
Didn't Ilana make that comment before they buried Locke? That reminds me, some people on some other BBS's had speculated that Locke might still return but I guess that's not possible now, seeing as how he's buried next to Libby, Ana Lucia, Boone, Shannon, Nikki, and Paolo.
I don't know. There were other numbers up there (not "the numbers") and those characters weren't killed in numerical order.
Right - I'm almost thinking that lower numbers indicate the more likely/most suitable candidates. Of course, I've been a huge Hurley backer for a couple years.
When they kept showing dead Locke I keep imagining I see him twitch or something. I'll keep that hope that he's coming back since others have it too. Also, does this mean Jacob has shapeshifting abilities now? Or maybe any of the previous imaginary sightings of other characters weren't MIB but other visions from Jacob?
Smoke was most definitely Alex. I think it's safe to assume that Smokey was Yemi as well. It has yet to be seen if Christian was Smokey or not. I lean towards Smokey being Christian if only because when Jack saw him off island, the smoke alarm was going off.
Maybe Jack is the new island protector? It was said before the season that he discovers his special purpose around mid-season. Jack has a special purpose! -------------------------- Dear Grandma, I met a girl named Smokey on the island and she taught me how to use my special purpose. I would finish writing this letter but I got to go. Smokey wants to explore my special purpose some more. Love, Jack
yeah, those are the Numbers that have been referenced since Season 1. Par for the Course. blond boy- Jacob or Aaron?
Id think that its Jacob when he first arrived on the island as a child? We might get a flashback in a future episode possibly? As for the numbers, i've been thinking, could this mean that these 6 characters are the only true "chose ones"? Obviously they aren't the only main characters of the show so this makes me believe that they are somewhat special.
This might be a dumb question but I am still kind of confused on the whole flash forward thing. I am watching the last episode right now, and didn't Locke ask Helen like from season one to go on a walk about with him and she said no and that she would have to charge him for him to keep talking to her. I didn't think anything changed from the past and it just altered what happened if they landed.
It seems to have changed their past, maybe as if Jacob had not touched their lives at all. Outside of that event, but curiously still a Locke event, was that it seems in that dimension X Locke and his father had patched their relationship up.
It was more like what would have happened had a bomb gone off on the island in 1977. A lot of things would have happened differently, just one them being the plane not crashing.
In the reality we're used to seeing, Helen left Locke because of his obsession with this father. The woman Locke was talking to on the phone in his flashbacks was a phone sex operator. He just asked her to go by the name Helen. I think that this alternate reality isn't exactly what would have happened had the bomb worked like they originally planned. Too many things are different for that to be the case.
HA HA! What happened to Shannon's inhaler? Mystery solved. And Hurley again being the voice of the viewer.
Another good episode, it is funny how nothing has changed with regards to character-centric episodes either sucking or being good. Locke/Jack/Sawyer's episodes are usually good. Kate/Jin and Sun/Sayid episodes have always been boring. Now, I just want some Desmond(another character with good episodes) and Ben.
