Are you kidding? New York got reamed, and Sacramento isn't much better off.

I was upset to see Landry go when I first read about the trade this morning, but getting Martin, the 2011 pick swap, and the 2012 1st round is a great move.

    In Morey I trust

@Orem...Fair enough. But I was just going off potential. I think New York gets a good deal for the near future. Meaning big free agents. Possibly two big free agents. And for Sac Town they really wanted to get the 3yr deal of KMart out.
But no doubt that we certainly come out of this with a smile. I mean Martin, and potentially high draft picks in the future. Oh yeah  .

The only thing that bothers me is that we essentially just took on another injury prone guard. Martin hits 25 and starts having nagging injuries...hmm, doesn't that sound familiar? And no offense, but Tmac was a great passer too...Martin can score and that's about it.

I just ran this trade through trade machine, and it said that we would lose 8 more games now:
    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yg7n6lr
however, it doesn't consider the draft picks and everything. I think the knicks got screwed, the kings got a decent deal, and we got a helluva alot. We got rid of Dorsey, we lost Landry, but we got another young forward in jordan hill and remember, his contract expires tihs year so we can resign him if we want. We also have a real two-guard, which means we can move battier or ariza to the bench, we you take that plus hill and jefferies and lowry coming off the bench we got some some nice depth. Armstrong is a real center to play backup for hayes this year, and for Yao next year. If kevin martin has any shooting touch and if Yao can stay healthy. Get ready for a couple of championships in houston in the next five years.

Now we need Knicks to be our superhero too. We need a collective effort to pray they will continue to suck for the next two years. I want their pick this year. Damn Utah.

In Morey I trust......but losing Mandry was a tough pill to swallow.

I was more than prepared to lose Scola and Battier/Ariza
