Hate to see Landry go but we already have Luis Scola. This move makes the Rocks a better team! Gonna miss ya though Karl...

I think just about anyone would be happy to get out of Sacramento. That town is a freaking dump with nothing to do at all.

trade is definitely not official. Expect New York to be added. Nothing new but don't expect announcement from Rockets for this trade as is.

Work a 3 way to help NY improve. Got to draft block the Jazz.

HOU: Martin + Armstrong + KT
SAC: Landry + Hughes + Cardinal
    NY: McGrady

    Seperate deal
    HOU: Trade Exception
    NY: Rodriguez

Rockets save on Rodriguez's contract. Reduced payroll by $4.5M in total.
Kings save $2.4M from taking on the Knicks expiring over McGrady's.

Cardinal can't be traded in a package deal with other players. He can only be dealt individually or with picks.

I always thought K-mart would be the right fit for this team. And so does the Rockets organization.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I thought there was a 48hr window to re-package a player in a trade?

I don't think we have to worry about Kings flipping for Tmac, if the trade isn't official...we still have Tmac and are giving the Knicks a shot in on this...Really...the Knicks have NO leverage here.

Hill+Picks could be what we are getting back with Martin...If so..Morey should be praised beyond the moon again. That would be amazing.

Any one that isn't high on Hill should look at his rookie stats and KMart's rookie stats....and understand why some players just develop slower.

He did say no one was untouchable earlier in the season though. Sounds like he was fairly serious when he made that statement.

It can only be the 1 player, he cannot be packaged with any other players provided the team is over the cap.

I agree with you, but in your opinion do the Rockets net another asset, Hill or pick?

Would he? If it comes to full MLE money, I think Morey will be forced to move Brooks if he wants to keep Lowry. There is no way Morey is going to think it is economically wise to have your backup PG making full MLE money on a 5 or 6 year deal.

You might be right. I have to get refreshed on that. I just haven't seen newly acquired players traded along with other players even within the 48 hours.

I think this how the trade might be looking like by the end of today, well at least IMO....

Three team trade NY/ HOU/ SAC
    Houston gets:
    Kevin Martin
    Kenny Thomas
    Hilton Armstrong
    Jordan Hill
    2011 swap picks
    2012 1st rd picks(top 3 protected)

    New York Gets:
    Tracy McGrady
    Sergio Rodriguez
    Brian Cook

    Sacramento Gets:
    Carl Landry
    Joey Dorsey
    Jared Jeffries
    Larry Hughes
