Lowry can't really play hard ball. He's a restricted free agent. He'll get market value.

And he's not going anywhere. He's a special player and Morey loves what he brings for good reason.

Rodriguez isn't half the player Lowry is. In fact, I'm not sure that Rodriguez is anything more than a Steve Blake-lite.

We got Ron Artest from the Kings for Donte Green and Bobby Jackson. We got Otis Thorpe from the Kings in 1988 for Rodney McCray and Jim Peterson. We got Rick Adelman, the Kings' best coach ever. If you look at the history of deals and trades between the Kings and the Rockets, we have always gotten the better end of it. I'm trusting in Morey. This season is probably still just marking time, but I like the scoring KMart is going to bring, if not this year then next - the man is a money shooter.

Somehow, somewhere, I'm blaming TSlack for us losing Landry. Martin is a decent player on a bad team ... I don't think he's worth it for us.

Until I see the ink, I refuse to believe Morey let Landry go.

I think Morey will still make another trade before it is over depending on if the Knicks get in on the deal.

Wow, the Kings freed up $14 million in this trade to get there payroll down to $27 million next season! WOW.

I bet Morey was like, hey, I can trade with your asses and you can sign two max players next season, or I can trade with the Knicks. Now, make me an offer.

LeBron and Wade could end up in Sac-Town.

    Evans/Udrih
    Wade/Garcia
    LeBron/Greene/Casspi
    Landry/Nocioni
    Hawes/Thompson

After watching Landry getting pounded on by Millsap this week, the decision was just a little bit easier I think. And there will be a few good PF's still on the board for us in this year's draft where there will probably not be any good SG's.

Kmart has only had 3 MINOR injuries in his NBA career so far, and came back from them playing wellthe 3 times....TMac used to have several injuries IN THE SAME SEASON....

Did I miss something? could anybody explain how come KMart is 'as injury prone' as TMac?

I agree, Lowry is three times the player Rodriguez is. Sergio is a nice 3rd string PG, the ankle injuries won't be as bothersome. No more D-leaguers in the rotation.

Also, I agree Morey will pay market for Lowry, but what if a team offers him the full MLE?

Actually, TMac could have several injuries IN THE SAME GAME.

Nah, it will be nice to have Rodriquez around in case of injury. I can see him feeding Yao in the post, and dishing passes to Scola on the break next season. The knack on him has always been shooting and he has improved that, in limited minutes, this season.

It seem's McGrady might still be going to NY(Sergio maybe as well), hopefully Kings take on Jeffries contract and we get hill+draft picks in return...
