Initially, I was angry on the trade, on losing Landry and potentially not getting any picks (still to be seen, in case of 3-team deal with Knicks). However, the more I look at it, it seems to make more and more sense and I think it will be another great move by Morey. In Morey we trust! :)

I'm wondering, now with Kevin Martin in, whose place in the first line-up will he take? I think it would be Trevor's, since Shane is our best defender and the best option to defend against the best offensive wing player on opposing team. What do you think?

I think it will be harder for the coaching staff to have to tell Trevor to take a seat. Chances are they will tell Shane, and he being the professional he is, will accept with no argument.

Come on brother. That isn't not even a question. Battier does well off the bench.

A starting lineup with Shane and K-Mart makes much more sense. Ariza can be our primary scorer of the bench, and Shance can guard their best wingmen.

Shane will claim his spot on the pine and be in position to play more productive minutes with less wear and tear on his body.

We lost our best scoring punch on the bench, we'll need some scoring from there, and shane does not scores.

No way does Shane go to bench and Ariza still stay in the starting 5.

We need Kevin Martin at SG and with his scoring ability alongside Brooks, our scoring problem will be no more. Ariza is a streaky shooter, not a shot maker consistently. And his playmaking ability was proven non-existent at all.

With that being said, Shane is a better 3pt shooter than Trevor, so put Ariza on the bench as our sixth guy and bring some firepower along with Chase Budinger, that'll be nice.

$100 tip jar bet Battier goes to the bench. Clutch BBS is a great board and takes a lot of dough to run it. Any takers?

    Its definatly Battier.

Got a question- Does K mart need the ball to score? Will this hurt ABs production? I know hes a SG but from what iv seen he brings the ball up court alot.

How are we going to get those #1 picks from NY now that Sac has T-Mac?

The first game, he will come off the bench.

After he gets a practice in, I'd say Battier goes to the bench.

We still have Kenny Thomas and some expirings that would be easy to trade for Jeffries if we wanted to. NY probably wants Mcgrady as a player, though, if Sacramento is willing to do that deal.

With Carl Landry's firepower missing off the bench, I believe we need to send the best offensive player to the bench to help replace that. Between Battier and Ariza I'm not sure who that is, but I would think Ariza would be better with the up-tempo bench. Thoughts?

Stop It, Shane is not a better 3 point shooter than Ariza. Shane got hot last night like everyone else. I like Shane off the bench to play with (no D) Budinger. Shane can take their top scorer off the bench and shut him down.
