My wife just called me and Im told her that Landry is being traded. She goes NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Why?????? True story. Everybody just loves Landry. Morey better have something else better under his sleeve or this could one monumental mistake, especially if KM doesn't pan out here because of injuries. Oh, boy, what a night to be a Rockets fan.
I feel like I did when Otis Thorpe, Steve Francis, and Cat all got traded, my heart just sank. But Clyde was so worth it in the end, and T-Mac gave us some great memories. I really hope KMart comes in and makes a big difference. I'll always have that fond memory of a young Carl Landry smiling while missing teeth after he finished off the Utah Jazzholes in a playoff game.
wow..we could'v gotten landry in a big contract or small contract for a great player..and i nvr seen any flaws in landry..and he's what kept rockets games competitive with quick high percentage easy buckets. Wow...i thought he was the only untouchable in the rockets uniform. His shooting percentage has been probably one of the highest in recent years in the nba. And it's so rare to find a high percentage big guy. I mean..martin is good but what happens to the lineup now? kevin martin hasnt been the same since his injury. Hopefully he will recover..I do like kevin martin..but Tmac and Landry for MArtin? lol that's a horrible trade. I'd trade ariza or lowry or scola and possibly AB ahead of trading landry

Sad to see Landry go. And it sucks for him that he's going from a playoff caliber team to the Kings, who are going thru some growing pains with the youth revolution going on over there in Sac-town. I wish you the best, Carl MANdry.
90% of the posts on the Kings board are overjoyed that they're getting Landry. 90% of the posts here are people crying their eyes out that he's going. It does suck. Carl deserves to be on a playoff team. Here's hoping that he does well in the future.

I knew it was going to end up being painful when Tmac was traded. I hate losing Carl. He was #2 in my heart! Well, sometimes #3 but Still really high up there! Best of luck to him in Sactown.. the silver lining is that he will finally be starting!
