Tyrus has something like a $12-13M cap hold. Keeping him would leave the Bulls with $8-9M of cap space.

The Bulls can stick with Tyrus and have the cap space to offer a max ($17M) contract if Hinrich is moved.

I hope it's picks. We need to start positioning ourselves to contend once Yao is gone and stops wasting our cap room. Our current team plus our possible lottery pick this year, possible swap for NYs lotto pick next year, then NY's potential lotto + our presumably late first rounder the following year is a pretty good team when you consider what we can add once dead weight Yao and Battier come off the books. Those three potential lotto picks would be higher than what it took to get brooks, landry, and budinger, so we should be able to get some real players out of them.

    Morey isn't dumb.

    Why get Amare ?

He won't stay and we won't contend with him.

    Kill the rumor.

Man i'd take Mayo, idk what the Grizz would want back but they are not very smart.

Even that proposed deal is just...odd...

It's like the Jazz trading Deron Williams for Chris Paul...Mayo and Ellis are kinda the same type of players. Ellis has more points and is prbly better, but he is more experienced so that is expected.

Well that's not happening in a McGrady trade, because the only big contract on the Grizzlies is Zach Randolph and he's been a beast for them this year.
