    mfclark,

    Thanks for the link!
Nachbar looks like the real deal. I wanna know who are some of the other players?
Looks like in one of those clips the opposing point gaurd has some mad skills.

Now I understand why the NBA teams are looking at these guys,
granted that the defense side is lacking, but these guys are alot further along than most NCAA College players.

I believe Nachbar is going to have a big impact this season and you will see more European players joining the
    NBA in the near future.

Age for age, alot further along?? Really? Than "most." Really? Age for age, are most Euro 21yr olds really a lot further along than most US 21yr olds. Where does that come from? Not our scouts. Jay Williams, Dunleavy, Gooden, Wagner, Butler, Jeffries are considered NBA ready and solid. All taken before Nachbar, and I'm not even mentioning the NBA 21yr olds or the drafted projects that have no experience....we can praise Tsika for potential but what about Wilcox. At age 19yr, how many expect Tsika to be "alot further along" than Eddie Griffin was? You won't find him in those videos much, and he is on Nachbar's team.

Understand, you are watching 25-30 yr old veterans in that video, too. Those are not all 19-23 yr old that we see in the NCAAs. The older ones have no chance in the NBA, like Tyus Edney.

    HP,

I agree with you about Wilcox, Gooden, and some of the other first rounders in this years draft. However, it seems in Europe,
as basketball gains more popularity, the players are starting to play at "PRO" level sooner. Granted the Euro league is not the NBA, but Euro players get to concentrate more on basketball than books, therefore getting the opportunity to develop their skills sooner.

    HP,

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say their is no talent in college basketball. I am only making an observation that Europe is slowly cathing up, and the more Highschoolers who are getting drafted before college seniors tells me that college basketball maybe headed for hard times.

Heypartner, I don't post often, However I have been coming to this site for a few years and have always enjoyed reading your posts. Much respect to you for all your great insights.

    Go Rockets:)

PS: Pau Gasol (20) looked pretty good to me last year!!

    Murph,

I agree with you. I like the European game and players. I'm not a disbeliever.

just the "alot further along" part that I was commenting on, especially considering we haven't seen much in the way of PGs, SGs, true PFs and Cs come out of Europe, yet. I really want to see them. I also want to see more games. NCAAs bore me since it is becoming such a young league where the best players are in and out. I'd rather watch the vets in Euro against their young players.

    cheers
