Who cares at this point what McGrady thinks. McGrady also thought it was great to finally be out of the first round in his series against the Pistons.
Judging from the posts in the thread.....quite a few people in this group are hanging on McGrady's every word. lol smh.
Something I have not yet seen anyone mention, but I admit I have not read all 23 trillion posts about TMac, is that we need to be prepared for and fully expect the inevitable slew of 3 or 4 40-point outbursts from him after he gets traded.. and immediately all the doubters will come out of the woodwork .. 'We should never have traded him?? Fire DA!! Fire Morey!! Etc etc. Just weather the storm folks. This guy has shown what he is really made of, and we are better off without him. The best POSSIBLE scenario would be that he goes to the Knicks, and absolutely performs lights-out, I mean, over 30 points every night, really make the NY folks giddy, so they will ink him to another long-term deal. Why? because we will have some of their future picks, and as soon as they ink him, that team is doomed, and we get better picks So don't scream about it when he has some good games after he goes away, rejoice! Amen!
Yeah the Bulls are. NY is the ideal fit for him though. They're not going anywhere fast. He can be the star, take all the shots he wants, things will run through him. Just what he wants - a showcase. Chicago is fighting for the playoffs I believe, and I have a hard time seeing him given "control" over things there and not as much as a showcase.
