I noticed during the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's everyone wore hats...It was considered part of an everyday garment...Now not too many folk wear hats, and those that do, usually wear them often. I wonder, do you wear hats? do you have many hats? and do you wear it a majority of the time? Thanks for such great, valuable info. about yourselve. Me? Hardly ever...
Yet another Seinfeld reference? I wear baseball caps. Cowboy hats too. Visors...burn em. Always wear a hat when you party. Or you'll end up with a party favor.
I frequently wear a hat. When I work out I wear my Phi Alpha Delta hat. When out and about I'll wear an Astros hat, an A&M hat or a Texans hat.
Almost never. Some days when I'm slumming it (or travelling), I will wear a ballcap (usually my Kansas City Monarchs cap, which inevitably leads to people asking what kind of cap it is... or asking if I'm a Royals fan... or saying it's a neat Royals hat.... Of course, when the Astros first came out with their shooting star caps in the mid-90s, people would come up and say something along the lines of "What a cool Cowboys cap").
i wear hats constantly... i have 4 that i wear... 1. Abercrombie & Fitch (90% of the time, my FAVE hat) 2. Longhorns hat 3. Astros hat 4. Armani Exchange hat
Usually only when my hair isn't presentable or I'm about to go outside for an extended period of time. I usually wear the same hat - an Orlando Magic hat I received at a giveaway a year or so ago - though I have a couple of more hanging on my wall for posterity. The only problem with wearing hats: hat hair. If you wear a hat...you've almost gotta keep wearing it for fear of hat hair. Some people, like Jim Courier, used to see their hair change colors temporarily after wearing a hat while outside; others just see their hair go into that boxy shape that's a pain to get out of.
actually, i have something worst than hat hair! i have a permanent tan on the upper half of my forehead! i have worn a backwards UT ballcap while running every morning for the past few years, and thus the top half of my forehead is pale while the rest of my face is very, very, very tanned... its so noticeable that everyone i know makes fun of me about it... luckily they don't notice my sock tan line too!
I'm not really into wearing hats. I basically only wear hats when I go to Rockets games. Other then that, I only wear hats if my hair is aweful that day.
People that where visors upside down and backwards are dumb. Those hats that have had the top cut off look dumb too. Either where a hat or don't...there is no middle.
C'mon, baseball caps are for kids. "You know the really nice thing about pictures of baseball game crowds from the 1940s? The only people wearing baseball caps are the players." -- George Carlin
I wear them when I'm out in the sun, that's about it. Didn't I see Carlin wearing a hat during one of his concerts a couple of years ago?
Yeah, and what's up with these frat girls and sorority girls wearing cowboy hats. I'm pretty much a non-violent person, but I really want to punch these people in the gut. Visors are a close second.
Carlin? Say something hypocritical? Surely you're mistaken. I liked his opening rant in the book, "Brain Droppings", which essentially said he hated mankind and didn't want to be associated with any of its subgroups. Two chapters later, he's bragging about how much better New Yorkers are than the rest of the country and how he's such a homer that he roots for New York to raise more money than Los Angeles during telethons.
I wear hats infrequently..usually when my hair is stickin out all over...and then it's a cool lookin Rockets hat I got in the 90's.. I find myself wearing it more these days, since I wacked off 2.5 feet of hair..it has more of a tendency to stick out...
