    The only way i'd take Chicago's deal is if Minny's pick is involved...coulda swore I heard Minny was contacted by Chicago.

    Minny might actually be foolish and stupid enough to give up a pick if we send them a proven young player back like Landry...and Minny is in the John Wall Sweepstakes...just random thinking here, move on...

    it was either/or Salmons/Hinrich and some other team first round pick

    Miller = 12.5 million
    Thomas = 4.8 million
    Salmons = 5.5 Million this year and 5.5 million next
    Draft pick = roughly around 2 million

    T-Mac = 22.5 million
    Cook = 3.5 million

    26 Million from Rockets and 24.8 Million for the Bulls

    T-mac,Dorsey,Cook

    for

    Hill,Jefferies, Hughes, Swap 2011 1st round picks, and we get New Yorks 1st round pick for 2012.

    Again I don't know how legit this radio in Portland is though.

    It's posturing so Morey gets Walsh to Unprotect the 2012 pick.

    You're right. This is something I heard a while back. Just googled it and it looks like the so-called clause in the Nike deal is bogus.

    RT @CSNBullsInsider: For what it's worth, 1 league source tells me McGrady to NY will happen by tomorrow, while another says it's not over for Chicago yet.

    THIS IS MADNESS.... :eek:

    She-Mac might be getting paid, but man, it's a blessing to our squad. Morey is feeling like a king now with all these offers.

    I personally would gamble on New York having to settle on a lower tier FA. (Because Bron resigns and Dwade goes to Chi town.) Maybe Bosh, but I don't know if he would go there.

    I think their pick next year could be a top 10.

    Others? Clutch did mention Granger a few times in his recent radio appearances. Morey pulling in last chance, last minute calls to Bird?

    They'll have to renounce those rights in order to clear the cap room to be able to sign the two max FA's so really its one or the other. They won't be able to keep Lee AND sign two max guys. Unless Lee wants to play for peanuts..which I doubt after his stellar season....

    Yup, Morey will definitely not pull the trigger right now. If he waits for 24 hours, our potential trading partners will grow even more desperate and offer up better goods.

    Either its Granger or Iguodala. My bet is Morey is using the media to scare Stefanski into trading T-Mac straight up for Iggy because Im willing to bet Stefanski is scared to death of being stuck with Iggy's contract for one more year, possibly more.

    the answer is simple.

    morey already knows which team he wants to deal with. for this example lets suppose its the knicks. morey keeps the bulls talks alive in order to create a fake bidding war in order to get the knicks to up their offer.

    end result is that the knicks give in and morey gets what he wants. of course, that could be the other way around. either way, morey is in complete control and that is comforting.

    yupp, i wouldnt be surprised if Morey somehow gets iggy, expirings, and draft picks. Somehow, his MIT intelligence gets the best of other GMs.

    Either that or Morey is scaring somone else into giving them what he wants, for example Igoudala or possibly some team we don't even know about. BTW, I LOVE UR VIDEOS! KEEP MAKING THE GOOD STUFF MY MAN!

    i still prefer the NY deal even if the 2012 is protected 10 or lower (and if they are higher than 10 then the 2013 pick is unprotected) mainly because I dont think the 2012 pick will be lower than 10.

    The Knicks will have money to sign/overpay two big names this year in 2011 they will have Curry off the books which should allow them to sign another semi-all star type player...if anything that would probably allow the knicks to be a playoff type team in the 2011-12 season making any protection 10 and higher pointless.

    Morey has done well with his drafts and we have never seen Morey with a draft pick higher than 26 before and he was able to get Aaron Brooks with that! I am not saying he is a genius at drafting but I have faith in his selection process.

    Also these picks can be easily packaged in a trade over THIS summer for that AS type swingman that everyone wants.

    The Rockets would have some cap space this year...sign and trade scola + one of the ny picks to philly for iggy if the sixers are still desperate to dump him.

    the Rockets would have still signed lowry and have the MLE so

    brooks/lowry
    iggy/chase/JT
    Ariza/Shane
    Landry/Hill
    Yao/Hayes

    use the MLE to sign another front court guy

    I would be fine with that lineup next year
