    This!

Some people think just because TT is included its a good deal. NYK gives us FLEXABILITY, and a chance to improve our team way ,ore then the Bulls deal would ever do.

McGrady's camp thinks it will be Chicago.
That's the latest from Randy McIlvoy at Channel 2

In the new cap era, draft picks are the ideal option. DM knows this and it's the main reason that it looks like it'll get done.

Man, I hope they ship Battier's intangible ass outta here with that performance he put on tonight! I can't see this as being the only deal Morey is gonna make, I just cant. I have a gut feeling there is gonna be one more trade made before Thursday. With

You need to go smoke something. No one is talking hard. You're just talking out of your rear.

It would also be a massive PR blow if he gets that cap space, isn't able to capitalize on it, and he's completely traded away the Knicks future to the Rockets.

I'll be satisfied if the Rockets get those picks and they are unprotected. I can live with Jeffries. Hopefully Hill turns out to be a player.

chicago deal is not good for Morey, he is just using it as a bait for Knicks. I guess that the Knicks will have the top 5 protection to save the GM job for this trade, otherwise, we could get young players like James or Wade from this trade and the Knicks could lose big.

Rockets brass holding late night meeting. Very confident. Didn't reveal much, but exec said all deals on table targeting "future assets"

Can you at least read up, before you post? If we get the expirings from Chicago, we will have only about 7-8 million in cap space, and that is only if we don't resign Scola and Lowry. With the NY trade, besides Hill and the picks, we end up over the cap and therefore can resign both Lowry and Scola while also getting the MLE to sign someone with.

I suspect that McGrady's camp has wisened up and is finally coordinating with the Rockets to force the Knicks to make those picks unprotected.

All things considered, I like the Knicks deal more, I think the Rockets do as well, and obviously NY is where McGrady wants to be.

They should squeeze Deng into the Chicago deal.

What money? Do you know that the cap is shrinking? Do you realize that even if we renounce Scola & Lowry, we still couldn't offer a max contract?

I prefer Chicago's offer. Tyrus Thomas is a good high energy, athletic player, but I don't know why we wont take on Salmons, he always seems to kill us when we play his team.

Do you think it's a coincidence that McGrady's working out in Chicago and could possibly be traded there?

    ...discuss...
