    Reserves
    Rasheed Wallace

I would just bring back the '92 Dream Team, even the old guys could still lay a beating on the rest of the world!

Yeah I'd still have Laettner & Mully!! I'd keep Laetnner to carry all the teams bags and I need Mully to entertain the fans during time out's. He could sit on the bench and drain 3's from there.I'd also have Charles & Pip also doing an exhibition boxing match at half-time.
As you can see I'm planning lot's of entertainment because I think even these senior citizens could spank any team in the tournament. I would even go so far as to say the old guys could still whip the 2000 team (and yeah I know Charles is on one leg, MJ is retired, Bird is retired, Magic is retired - I just think they have more heart than the current team).

Although Carter has been flashy downunder, i cannot believe all of you have left off clearly the best player in the current team based on performances in the lead up games and the olympics themselves, that is Ray Allen.

I find it ironic that Carter and Ray Allen are so prominent in these games, considering they were picked as 'alternates'.

Carter hasn't really been prominent for his performances... he's been notable for his idiotic behaviour! If Kemp and Coleman got disciplined for the way they behaved at the '94 world championships then Carter should never play for the US again either.

    That in mind, my team

    C Shaq
    PF Tim Duncan
    SF Grant Hill
    SG Eddie Jones
    PG Jason Kidd

    Reserves
    C Alonzo Mourning
    PF Vin Baker...oops.. Chris Webber
    F Kevin Garnett
    SF Michael Finley
    SG Ray Allen
    SG Kobe Bryant
    PG Gary Payton

Of course that's probably my team for THIS olympics, it's ridiculous to pick a team for 2004 already, if we do then there are Timmy Hardaways and Vin Bakers in the team.....

My dream team would consist of

    PG Francis, Marbury
    SG Bryant, McGrady, Finley
    SF Carter, Odom, Miles
    PF Garnett, Wallace
    C Duncan, K. Martin

basically bunch of young and exciting players. Only way to keep these those games half way interesting.

rick dont think that would work, duncan and martin arent centers...and china with those 3 7'4 guys they might come within 30 points of us and heaven forbid that. and you might as well watch a dunk contest.

You people who picked Payton do realize that in 2004 he will be 36 . . .

Do you think he will be able to maintain his level of production that long?

McDyess has like a 44" vertical.
