Monday started bandcamp, and since then I've been marching and other crap like that. Well I just realised that I can't read music, play music, or even march to music. So am I lucky enough to be in the presence of someone who does?(Post here what instruments you can play)
    Bass Drum(Not really)

I used to be able to play a recorder (mini-flute thingy) in elementary school, does that count?

A little bit of piano. I got to Grade 3 in Royal Conservatory of Music piano lessons, so I can read sheet music (though not very fast).

    Used to play piano...hated it.

Played viola...sucked at it...but did semi-ok for some reason...not that bad. One thing I learned from being a viola player: violinists are b****es. ;)

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin', it's early morn,
The taxI's waitin', he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go
There's so mamy times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you know they don't mean a thing
Every place I go I'll think of you
Every song I sing I'll sing for you
When I come back I'll bring your wedding ring

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time, let me kiss you
Then close your eyes and I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times I won't have to say

I play a little piano, violin, electric bass, guitar and harmonica. Trouble is I don't play any of them all that well.

    Hmm...maybe I should get a drum set.

I played clarinet in 6th grade, hated it.

I played bass clarinet in 7th grade, hated it.

I played bass clarinet in 8th grade, loved it.

I would've played in high school, but you had to be in the marching band as well. That wasn't for me.

During high school, I played snare drum in the marching band. Yeah, it's a bit embarrassing, but damnit, I was good. By sophomore year, I was already Drum Captain (head of the whole drum section). Junior year, I was still in charge. By the time I got to be a senior, though, I got bored with marching (and developed Senioritis), so I relinquished control of the section and moved to the pit area. I then became Pit Captain.

Been playing drums since second grade.
Been playing piano since third grade.
Been learning to play guitar since early this year.
Took singing lessons a long time ago.

Soon, I'll be my own band, a la Trent Reznor.

I played the tenor sax in marching band for my first three years of HS, I didn't even sign up for band my senior year, but I had plenty of trouble marching at first, so don't worry about it, SGM.

I'm sure all the upperclassmen are giving/gonna give you a hard time about it, but they're just doing what they've been expected to do. Don't take it personal. It takes a while to get everything down, but if you've got good directors everything will be fine. We had a marching band in middle school and it still took me til about my junior year of HS to become decent at marching. :)

Then you had better add another "instrument" to your arsenal...

Electronic Music machines...or whatever you want to call them...

He uses a ton of effects, loops, and other digital paraphenalia when he records...At least that's what i hear...I'm not much a NiN fan myself...

Yes, I am in Marching band. Funny thing is that we are the best bass drum line ever and we are horrible. :D
