May I use my 3000th post(yay big pat on the back to myself =p) to proclaim the following statement:

hot off the press of w22's eye for talent hq:

    ANTAWN JAMISON

I LOVE THIS GUY AND HE IS A GREAT FIT FOR OUR TEAM.

    Let me explain:

Antawn Jamison is another player who has had a terrific NBA career and has still found a way to go unnoticed to most.

Would you believe me if I told you that Jamison has a higher career points per game average than Magic Johnson, Willis Reed, Dolph Schayes, and even Reggie Miller?

What if I told you he has a better rebounds per game average than Julius Erving, Dominique Wilkins, and Rasheed Wallace?

If I have yet to impress you, than this stat will surely make you say wow.

Antawn Jamison also has a higher career efficiency rating than Scottie Pippen, Pete Maravich, Elvin Hayes, James Worthy, and John Havlicek.

Just to seal the deal, he has done this in more career minutes than Rick Barry, Julius Erving, Bob McAdoo, and George Gervin. All of whom are currently in the hall of fame.

Oh yeah, after his 11th season in the league, Jamison has only played in two all-star games. The same number as Brian Winters, Kelly Tripucka, Archie Clark, Jeff Malone, and Fat Lever.

A nomadic player who has finally found his niche in Washington. When Gilbert Arenas got injured, he helped Caron Butler keep the Wizards a winning team. Now that both Butler and Arenas are injured, he's trying to keep his team in the playoff hunt, they do have a losing record but one man can only do so much.

    Under appreciated?

    I'd say so.

Now that the Wizards are having a Memphis-esque firesale in times more desperate than non other, Morey must make this move. Wizards are simply asking for a package, saying they are willing to be ripped off and shafted talent wise!! just to get under the lux tax.

yao will love having such a talented and floor-stretching power forward next to giving him all the space yao will ever need to make his post moves flourish like non other.

now you may say cleveland is gonna get him, but u probably failed to realise how important it is for the cleveland gm to get an ALLSTAR on their team. jamison isn't widely regarded as one even though he definitely deserves to be one, and so there isn't that star power cleveland so desperately wants to add.

    so here is my proposal:

after we get larry huges from new york in that tmac deal:

and we add a future first round pick to round out the deal(which we will have a TONNE of after tht new york deal

ladies and gentlemen: this is your houston rockets version

Jamison is kind of old. I would have loved to have him a few years ago.

tl;dr, just saw the trade machine thing.

Why in the world would Washington do this? They could trade Jamison for way more than Hughes, alone.

You know what all those players that you listed have that Jamison doesn't ?

    Rings, and lots of them.

so would I. you'd have liked to have gilbert arenas a few years ago too I bet.

but the fact hes old is the reason we can get him for peanuts.

they dont sell ray allen if he was still 20 something...

the cleveland offer is big Zs contract, a future first round pick, and filler (jamario moon). they are in very serious talks.

the deal I proposed there is exactly the same. If u didnt notice I included a future first round pick which we would have an excess of if we did that trade with new york :)

Lebron>Jamison any day of the week not to mention Lebrons at least sniffed a ring where as Jamison hasn't even gotten close.

Jamison has always put up decent numbers on not so great teams.

He's 33 years old has been in a slump recently and it's not long before he begins to decline.

Not to mention his contract situation is not great at all.

    Once again no thanks

Yea lets act like we accept the Knicks deal after then we send Hughes for Jamison, Crittenton and Foye. What then F we gonna do with all these POWER FORWARDS ?

at point guaaard,he was the best defender in the NY but you know how the treat defenders in Ny, here is JARREEEEED JEFFRIES!!!

at shooting guard, with all hustlee and mid range ladies&gents, CARL
    LANDRYY!

at shooting forward, he's better than Piston Pete, scores more than Magic Johnson, more clutch than Michael Jordan, give it up forr ANTAAAAWN JAMISOOON!!

at power forward,it's comin straight from Argentinaaaaa! LUISS SCOLAAA

and at center, here is the new coming of Chris Bosh, the ultimate potential, shares the same name with the greatest, JO JO JO JO JOOORDAN HILL!!!!

OBVIOSSlY leBron is better. why need to bring that up. lebrobn > any other nba player any day of the week

the argument that poster put up was some "jamison has no rings"

which is ridiculous in my opinion. adam morrison has a ring ffs...

jamison is as good a star you can get on the cheap on the current market. do u really think philly will give us anything resembling iguodala??

and jamison is still putting up monster numbers. so I cant really see that being a factor in the yao era

    just to clarify:

I didnt say lebron is the same as jamison. I said they were the same in terms of "rings" as the other guy said how those guys I compared jamisons numbers to has all these rings and jamison dont.
