http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4917483 How the hell did the Heat get five first-round picks?
This strikes me as meaning there is a very good chance Stoudemire to Philly is a no-go. Iggy, here we come!
Depends if Stoudemire stays also. Isn't he also an UFA? If Stoudemire does not stay, Wade will have no reason to stay. If Stoudemire stays, but produced poorly this season, Wade will have no reason to stay. However, if Stoudemire STAYS and produces WELL, Wade will most definitely stay.
Yeah it would be. I'd rather see him in a heat uniform than a cavs one if he's not gonna be wearing red and white
The Heat are the logical team to trade AS to since he has a home there & likes DWade. By trading for Stoudemire, the Heat in effect have locked up 2 of the top 5 free agents in the 2010/2011 bonanza.
The Heat of course will get Stoudamire he plays for the Suns which is also hot. So the Heat and Suns get along. Bada Bing!
You have a point, they did manage to trade Shaq off the Heat squad and net Shawn Marion in the process which helped them trade for JO's big time expiring. If either of these trades goes down, no one is leaving for FA 2010-2011. Which leaves NY royally screwed! Which means we get more awesome picks! Sweet!!!
Almost everyone on the Heat roster is an expiring contract. They're in a great position to make a trade here - sweeten the expirings with a draft pick and voila - Stoudemire. If they're willing to take a bit of a lux tax hit this year, the Heat could easily acquire Stoudemire. Of course they wouldn't do it without some sort of underhanded assurance that he would stay with them...
WojYahooNBA Miami tried to enlist Charlotte as 3rd-team to make Amar'e deal but failed, league sources said. Udonis Haslem would've gone to Charlotte.
oh now i hope miami/clevland can get stoudemire in a trade so one of those teams will have a hard time resigning u know who.
