On top of THAT the Knicks haven't signed anyone for 2011 and onwards just yet...

No reason the think they'll get Lebron or Wade or Bosh

They might well 'do a Detroit' from this off season! (plus they have no help coming from the upcoming draft)

Could be an awful move if it goes through for the Knickerbockers!

    Possible pitfalls:

1.) Phoenix gets wind of this and offers Amare for this package which appears to be better than what they are getting from Cleveland.

2.) NY signs no one and has tons of money to throw at Lowry/Scola.

Don't forget Adrian Woafdjafldafd did reveal the all star starters before the anticipated nba on tnt show. The guy might have been wrong on some occasions but he does have some credibility out there...

If.. who know if Knick get LBJ OR Wade, and there are other team going after those star players too. Even with a low first round pick, morey resume has been proven enough to draft underrated player.

To me its a low risk with high reward.

I agree this is ridiculous. Who would want Jefferies? In case anyone hasn't noticed that the Knicks are straight garbage. I rather just keep what we have and not do anything. Larry Hughes??? Please...

haha I was just kidding. I thought you were, too, when you said I was disrespectful.

Despite their similar looks, they do seem to have games that are identical to each other. Judging from the scouting reports on Hill that I've seen on youtube, it just described Mikki Moore to a T.

1.There is no way Phoenix will take on Jeffries. They do not seem like a team willing to pay extra.

    2. Restricted free agents typically do not get overpaid. Gortat was the exception this year. Usually teams wait until late in the offseason to go after those type of guys, and I do not see us losing them if this deal goes down.

If we're sitting here discussing this on the ClutchFans forum wouldn't you think Phoenix already has an idea about this trade?

I second that. Does this deal make us a better team? Is this deal better than the deal Washington proposed? This is a terrible deal! I want no part of Jeffries' contract, Larry Hughes low shooting percentage or turnover prone-ness, and I know everyoe is big on Jordan Hill, but what has he done so far to make us think that he is even close to Carl Landry? :( I HATE this deal!

From Morey view, this trade should be for future.
It will not help much at this season but he can get some young talent in the future.
It is Mr. Low-Risk style.
