well he is one of the few great superstars in the league with incredible athleticism, clutch play and unfortunately he is wasting his time in Miami instead of being in a team with good role players to win a champ sincerely needs good teammates to win another champ
I agree. The team around him is horrendous. Beasley is really their second-best player, and no one around the league even wants him because he's a bit of a head-case and is all style, not substance. I feel pretty bad for Wade. Houston should appeal to him with Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks with Landry on the bench, but given how we handled McGrady and what he said about it, I bet he wouldn't come here. That's what bothers me. I don't have any problem with how Houston handled McGrady, but apparently a lot of superstars/notable folks do. We should've just run him out there longer and proven that he isn't what he was. It's going to take a lot this summer for Wade to stay in Miami. He's wasting his prime.
Yao/Andersen Landry/Hayes/Dorsey Ariza/Battier Wade/Buddinger Brooks/Lowry = championship. How much can we offer Wade if the Rockets don't re-sign Scola, and Lowry? Can we still re-sign them after giving Wade the max?
The past doesn't guarantee the future. If Riles can't put it together this summer, I hope Wade bolts for the Bulls.
This is why I want the Rockets want to make a run at him. But apparently the Rockets would have to go over the luxury tax.
You guys love to lose faith in Riles. He always comes through. If he cant put it together this summer? He will put it together. Starting with Boozer.
No. I've respected him for years. Does he "always comes through"? No. He failed for many years to get the Heat anywhere until Wade finally came along. I'd say it's >50% Wade stays with them but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he bolts.
well he sent to the Heat, if you aren't going to build around me am out. I know he is saying that he wants to be in miami, but if your read between the lines that of there is no acquisitions before the trade deadline he is most likely will be out. Don't think he would agree with you. It isn't 2006 anymore. He's clearly put the Heat on notice they better improve.
I can't blame the guy. I don't think anyone can 'waste their time' in one of the sexiest cities in America as one of it's premier celebs.
last year was sad to watch because i like wade. he had an mvp caliber season averaging 30.2 ppg on 49% from the field, 5.0 rpg, 7.5 apg, 2.2 spg, and 1.3 bpg and wasted it on a 43 win team and even after putting up good numbers in the playoffs still got bounced after the first round.
As we stand right now, if we were to not make any trades, this week. We'd have $26.3 million in free cap space (on TMac and B.Cook alone), if you add in Scola's, Landry's, Lowry's, and Hayes...at $10.4 million ...it totals out to $36.7 million. We'd have a solid shot at Wade or Bosh with Joe Johnson. With that being said, why would Wade leave Miami, or not go to New York or Chicago for Houston. What makes the Rockets such a great attraction . . . JJ, I think will end up staying with Hawks or head to Chicago. Bosh or Amar'e (if he isn't traded) will end up in New York or stay where they are at, regardless if LeBron stays in Cleveland or not.
