Alright, a buddy of mine called to say ESPN radio has reported this afternoon that these three parties are in discussions about a three way deal involving Tmac. I'm only creating this new thread b/c I thought this was dead when Washignton dealt with Dallas. Anyone hear anything on this? Is it in ESPN insider or anything like that? I cannot for the life of me figure out why Washington would be involved now that they've dumped Stevenson and their most attractive assets (Butler and Haywood) are gone. Perhaps mike miller?
Maybe the Rockets just want Jamison to get him away from the Cavaliers' hands and turn Jamison into Hickson, Big Z and maybe even a Gibson (since Lowry is out) ?
Knixies, by all accounts, want McG; Wiz want out of Jamison (perhaps) + Miller = McG's contract. Toss'm up, toss'm around...maybe add a 4th team (Cavs?) and Voila! a deal. Simple.
Yeah Jamison+Miller could be the combo. I really think Morey wants to use NY as a 3rd team in a trade. The ability to use their smaller expiring contracts to match up to to other team assets that we are interested in.
Googled and came up with nothing. Someone in the other thread (one of the millions) suggested a trade of Hou gets: Jamison, M Miller and Hill NY gets: Tmac, Cook and Oberto Washington gets: Scola, Hughes and Harrington. We'd dump salary and get Hill. I'd be more than a little surprised for us to take on Jamison at his contract.
