not sure if this is worthy of its own thread but i thought i'd pass it along. via lowry's twitter he says hes out "for a few more weeks" i was hoping he would be back by next week but it doesnt look like it
I would say a couple more days a least. Dudes's ankle was pretty jacked up. http://twitpic.com/125qrl
I called a month the second I saw the replay. It looked like all his weight was on that ankle. I know someone will ask me if I want a cookie, so yes, I want a cookie Anyway, unless a significant trade goes down which I think is unlikely, its time to start watching college basketball a little more to predict who would be nice to have around the 10th pick.
i'd say he's gonna need at least another 2 weeks to get the rest of that swelling down..then another 1-2 weeks at least to get it bacl to playing shape.....not good.
So why no bashing of Lowry when he announces that he's "shutting it down" and publicizes his injury through unofficial channels?
Are you kidding? Thats not even close to what happened with T-mac. Why don't you compare some Granny Smith Apples to Naval Oranges while you are at it?
Anyone else think we need to trade for a point guard? I don't trust Garrett Temple as our back up point guard for a few weeks. Especially in the midst of a playoff run. Some PG's that may be available- DJ Augustin, Chucky Atkins, TJ Ford, Sebastian Telfair, Shannon Brown or Jordan Farmar, Marcus Williams, Mario Chalmers, Luke Ridnour, Chris Quinn or Keyon Dooling, Jason Hart, Toney Douglas or Nate Robinson, Kevin Ollie, Anthony Johnson, Royal Ivey, Steve Blake or Jerryd Bayless, Sergio Rodriguez, Jose Calderon, Mike James.
