I like how the aliens threads everyone just laughs at ToyCen, but in a 9/11 thread everyone suddenly thinks he can be swayed with logic and reason. That voice in your head telling you like this might be aliens. best to ignore it.

After seeing how the government covered up and got away with the Iraq War, it seems anything was possible with those guys. More than 3,000 US soldiers have died over there on last count. Before the Iraq War, I would have believed you, but after seeing how they hoodwinked most Americans, I could see some chance of a coverup taking place.
And why go to war with Iraq, what was the government going to gain? The Truthers say 9/11 was done by the government so we could go to war. Why? Oil? Are we stealing their oil or their other bountiful riches?
If they had the ability to cover up 9/11 and the Iraq War then why didn't the cover up the fact that there were no WMD's. How hard would it have been to plant some WMD's and claim that they found them. It's not that easy to stage a cover up and to believe the Bush administration, or any Presidential administration, would have the power to stage something like 9/11 is insane.

I mean WTC was being attacked way before the 9/11. I wouldn't be surprised that the twins towers and other tall buildings around them being rigged with dynamites on certain floors so in some cases when something did happen. The buildings will collapse properly so that it doesn't topple over and cause a great amount of damages to the other buildings or area surrounding it. That's just my theory since the government probably knew that there will be another or more attack on the twins towers so I'm pretty sure they are being cautious or prepared just in case if it does happen, they will bring the buildings down in a proper demolition that will limit the damages.
When a third of Americans believe that there was something to 9/11 other than the official government version, it does make me think that there is more support for these theories other than the lunatic fringe which is commonly ascribed to believing in them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_opinion_polls Just because the majority doesn't believe in it, does not mean it should not be discussed.

That would be a very bad idea for a number of reasons and again something that would be very hard to pull off without others being aware of it. Further how skyscrapers like the WTC towers and WTC 7 are constructed and how they transfer load down to the ground there is no reason to do something like that anyway since in general they would collapse into their footprint.
Think of the WTC being a bag of popcorn colonels. Enough heat and pressure, regardless of where the fire is, can cause the bag to pop and explode...
