Not too excited for the dunk contest, other than to see Nate. I'm interested in the Three-Point shoot out. THat's always fun to see which players shoot at a high efficiency without a defender. I think Channing Frye make stun everyone.

Why do people like seeing him in the dunk contest? I don't think I'll ever get why people go crazy while it takes him eight tries to finish a REGULAR dunk. It's nothing like Spud Webb.

You're right. He is nothing like Spud Webb. For me, it's his personality, and obviously, the fact that he's a "little guy" flying high. nates dunks aren't sick or exciting.It's awesome that he's tiny and can raise up and be able to do these dunks but that gets old...it got old about 2 years ago
YOu've gotta enjoy the show for what it's worth. It's not like Vince Carter is going to enter the competition anymore. Nate's dunks might not be "sick" as you write, but they are entertaining. It's not always about the dunk but the delivery.

They should have an open tryout for a 5th dunker. There are plenty of guys out there not in the NBA who are incredible dunkers.
