That's true, but circumstances are much different there and A LOT of things were wrong with that PHX team. They changed their style of play once they got Shaq...but I don't think a combo of Amare and Lebron is good for us, I think they would dominate the league although many people seem to hate on Amare and his skills here.

Good point but I don't believe Les pulled a Drayton McClain. Les has always been willing to spend on players who make the Rockets better. Butler and Haywood would definitely make the Rockets been but I dont think they wanted Stevenson in the deal but im not Morey so I dont know what the hell is going on.

not quite, washington did say that they wanted to re-tool rather than rebuild...howard still gives them that opportunity...maybe they were lying, but assuming Arenas is back next year, they still have some a nice trio in arenas/jamison/howard.

I bet you $10 to the tip jar that Howard will not be on their roster next season.

Yeah and Amare cooled off talks with the 6ers supposedly they thought he'd just leave them in the offseason any ways.

That's the biggest thing with him, but I have a feeling Iggy is off the market now. Haven't heard anything from them about him in a few days it seems.

you're drinking the Wizard's cool aide. They suck and this marginal amount of talent isn't going to help. They might pitch it as a reload, but there's no denying the fact that they saved several million.

Why does that article mention Scrub Battier as being in the Rockets' future plans? Our only future plans for him should be packaging him with a second rounder to get an expiring.

I know...his contract is probably 3X his actual value. If we could salary dump him it would be a great deal.

I'll pass on Jamison and Butler as long as Dallas throws Beaubois this way, then they can do a deal and keep the deal to a minimum. Beaubois is good player, but i doubt Cuban has time for player development and is in 'win now mode' The kid from France could be a diamond like Tony Parker with many years ahead of him.

I wish we could trade Battier as well. He makes $7 mil a year, is declining on defense and has made himself into a spot up 3 pt shooter only on offense. Hopefully Morey doesnt ask for the moon in trying to trade him in the off-season.

Who knows lolz. They may take their chances on none of them opting out is why. I bet that is a good reason why no panic which is something i thought about. Assuming none of Bosh, James opt out - Where does this put Wade? Bosh will opt out. His agent already said Miami is the place.
