Yes, Bosh only has this year left on his contract. Unless an agreement is made where Bosh agrees to an extension. Just wondering if an extension agreement is possible before a trade or during a trade. Anyone know of this happening before?
Kidding me? We're a crap team without Lowry in the lineup. Brooks can score, but he CANNOT facilitate the offense like Lowry can.
Well, i think it depends on their position, They might not hold enough interest to just dump Bosh, without dumping more and get something in return. Something like this would be a medium-end - low-ball attempt for both franchises. Why would they continue to pay that much to those players to put around Bosh, if they were stuck with them if Bosh was to leave. That don't leave many teams with options to trade for him now. Unless NY decides to go 'all-in' at the last minute of some sort.
Sorry for the spam... But this trade makes Scola tradeable. He is a starter could be a very good asset to a contender. Trade him for a young SG and we the Rockets are set. I would have said Belinelli but he hasn't really panned out and he's pretty close to injury prone.
I don't think anyone wants Toronto's trash same like no one wants NY's trash. Their trash is.. take up injury spot on bench trash. If they'd like to get something for him they should trade him. There is no reason for him to stay in Toronto unless he is loyal enough to spend his prime on a playoff team no where near contending. Also teams should know this... and should be willing to let his contract expire so they could get him during the free agency bananza.
I don't see a trade happening for Bosh but I would love it... who knows with Morey. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yjhc3kh
why the hell are you guys talking about a deal that is not going to happen! read for god sakes and stop posting your 2 cents about a trade that isn't happening!
The rumor mill has spun out of the realm of reason into mindless speculation. Wake me up when this is over, I can no longer bear to look.
Any player not named Lebron is available if the right deal comes along. He might be walking after this season and why should the Raptors risk losing him for nothing? They realistically have very little chance at a title run. I don't expect him to be traded but stranger things have happened.
We need a SG or playmaking wing too. Hedo isn't happy with his reduced role as a spot up shooter in Toronto and Toronto has no need for Hedo to facilitate because they have Calderon and Jarett Jack. Maybe Hedo/Bosh for T-mac's expiring/Ariza? Ariza is a better fit on the wings for Toronto as someone who can play without the ball. And, if they really want Brooks, they can add Calderon to the swap: Starting Lineup: PG: Lowry SG: Battier SF: Hedo PF: Bosh C: Yao Then trade one of Scola or Landry for someone like J.R. Smith and add in Andersen if they want a sweetener in the deal. Full Lineup: PG: Lowry/Calderon SG: Battier/J.R Smith SF: Hedo/C.Bud PF: Bosh/Scola C: Yao/Dorsey/Hayes First unit will be Orlando Magic v2.0 with godly rebounding and defense. Second until is run and gun with Calderon, J.R., C.Bud, Scola, Dorsey, and sometimes Bosh who can all run the break and shoot the ball pretty well (with the exception of Dorsey but he will clean up the boards).
Hedo Turkoglu is already overpaid and he has a bunch of years left on his contract. He is only going to get worse as he is on the wrong side of 30. No to him.
it's funny how people read these articles and immediately think they know exactly what trade is implied by them. I wish I had such knowledge.
Yeah, the Rockets might do a McGrady-for-Bosh trade. Possibly. In fact, nah....probably not. Toronto would have to throw in some sweeteners to make this offer fair.
