Barkley just told Jim Rome, speaking on Kobe, he never played with anyone as good as Pau Gasol or Lamar Odom.

He never said that. He said quite the opposite. He said He loved Dream and Rudy T and said He SUCKED the last years with Houston.

He DID say that LeBron has never played with teammates as good as Bynum, Gasol and Odom.

 

i'm guessing he's talking about front line. I'm also assuming, he's talking about old Dream instead of young Dream. because we all know that Kenny reminds him about it all the time.

 

I'm aware that many people sympathize with McGrady, but you're making it seem like players wouldn't come to Houston b/c they don't like Houston management.

My point is that the players we want are the kinds of players who work on their game year round and actually earn their money. This type of player wouldn't sympathize with McGrady.

Nevertheless, they have had notable free agent signing which would invalidate your point.

Barkley has played with some pretty good teammates for all his teams.

He bailed on this team last year when he 'coincidentally' announced knee surgery, without first telling his employers, the same day rumors of a deal surfaced that he would be traded, thereby ruining any chance for the Rockets to make a deeper run in the playoffs with a guy like BDavis on the team.

His teammates know he wasn't there for them, and he is now leaving his third city with nothing but bad vibes and unfulfilled promise.

Why do you think so many free agents wanted to play for Houston when Rudy T was here... They loved Rudy and the fact that he was a Player's coach... So if you don't think Management has a big decision on if a Player wants to sign or not man you really are confused...

 

He did pretty much what they asked him to do this year. When he requested more time they shut him down. Not like he went on operation shutdown.
