As someone who took a paycut and played his ass off for the Rockets I'm sure he can't look at the Tmac situation and be 100% on his side.

They'd notice it, but they wouldn't care. Look at all the elite players in the league. How many of them do you think would slack on rehab and enter the season out of shape?

Do you really think they can relate to McGrady's laziness and sense of undeserved entitlement? Do you really think they sympathize with McGrady?

What's really annoying is posters like you who don't think before posting.

the same players that called him, "half man, half a season".

I'm sure they will notice how our contract made him the highest player in the Association right?

A player would has to have the same attitude a HWSNBN to feel bad for him.

That means that player would be Lazy, unmotivated, unwilling to do what's best for the team and a loud moth to the media. If that's the player we turn off then Thank God.

    Shocking, isn't it?

I was equally shocked when Stephen A. Smith began siding with McGrady, too!

Sorry wekko, but you are wrong....

I have been in a room wth some high profile NFL players and heard them talk about what teams they would never play for because of management.

Contray to your ignorant belief, players talk to one another doing and after the season, so if you're annoyed with the truth then so be it....

There's a big difference between a guaranteed contract and an unguaranteed one. There's no sense in comparing apples and oranges.

I am no where close a T-Mac fan and if you read any of my past post I want both T-Mac and Yao gone....

But what you have posted is just ridicules.... I can not call T-Mac lazy when he basically carried this team for years... Now I can say that he has handle situations in a very immature way and that is a huge difference then being lazy.

But as I stated... Free agents are looking at how the Rockets are handling this situation and hate or love Barkley a lot of the players do listen and look up to him...

The bottomline is, we all knew there was something going on since last trade deadline.

We were looking to trade Tmac already but he came out and spook the team. That must of left some nasty taste in the team and to the players. which means Tmac got no friends in rockets uniform as the result.

Now he wants to come back and play his way into shape, and in the process destroy any chances that we could of given to our young players. In the long run, coaching staff couldn't do anything to prepare our team for next season. we couldn't development our young core. And, if Tmac couldn't play back to shape, his weaknesses get explosed. We then really got no chance to trade him before the deadline.

DM is gambling and taken on a chance to show people that the rockets are pissed at tmac for what he did. It gives an illusion to the league that perhaps tmac can play but wasn't given a chance. This would beef up his value a bit and possibily get him traded before the deadline.

if no deal done by deadline, one of two things could happen. first, we sit tmac contract out til summer. second, tmac may be interested in a buyout so we get to save some money. where tmac can be free to play for a championship team.

The way the Rockets have handled this situation I doubt very seriously that they buy out T-Mac.

That's funny until that happens to someone near and dear to you. You shouldn't wish someone to die unless you know what it feels like to have someone close to you (father, mother, sibling) die.

OK people be real both sides of this whole thing were wrong. McGrady was wrong for not telling the team about the surgery before hand and then the Rockets were wrong for playing with McGrady's mind putting him out there for 7 minutes for 4 games. If he didnt fit here anymore let him move on from his life instead of holding him back like the organization is doing right now.

Chuck is right, im sure NBA players are noticing how the Rockets organization is acting, which is pretty bad.

Two wrongs dont equal a right. Im ready to move on with a new ERA of Rockets basketball whether it be Caron Butler, Iguodala or....

Of course contracts are important when you're trying to use NFL scenarios in comparison with NBA ones.

In the NBA, contracts are guaranteed. Therefore, even if management is shoddy, players get paid.

In the NFL, contracts are unguaranteed. Thus, if management is shoddy, there is a chance that player can get cut and wouldn't get paid for the remainder of this contract.

This is why NFL players place a greater emphasis on management. And this is also why your experience with high-profile NFL players is entirely irrelevant to NBA issues.

    It is nice, isnt it?

Please read what Ramathorn006 just posted I am saying the same thing....

Contracts have nothing to do with insight... Here let me put it another way..

Let's say you are a software developer and you looking for a new job... So you get contacted by let's say upi are contacted by Widget inc..

So you go out on linked-in and get the word on this company that the management sucks.....

Now you have 2 other companies that like you also and they have a better reputation then widget..

So which are you going to choose...

the rockets did disrespect mcgrady. but mcgrady disrespected the organization last year. you can't really blame the rockets for going an eye for an eye.

if it comes to that, and tmac is willing to cooperate with whatever terms the rockets want for a buyout and they still don't, you know they really hate tmac for what he did last year.
