    Brook outshoots Novak, Bullard
Rookie point guard beats Rockets triple specialists in 3-point shootout

Pretty interesting article to look back on. T-Mac says that Aaron is "quick as hell" and AB's quote at the end was pretty awesome:

So what do you think about this article now? Beating Bull and Novak in a 3-pt contest is a pretty tough task. But who knows, maybe they were off or Brooks was just on fire from long range that day. The good thing is that this ClutchFans article was written in 2007. As we can see, he is a much improved player 2 years later and hopefully he doesn't slow down any time soon.

This makes me wonder. When are we going to see AB in a 3-pt contest on All-Star weekend? Even better, when are we going to see him play in the actual All-Star game? Obviously it most likely will not happen this season, so how much longer until he becomes an All-Star? Hopefully he gets the chance to stand out even more at the end of this season with another strong playoff performance.

I am hoping next year we get to watch AB in the All-Star game and see the Rockets to win a championship of course ;) . It also wouldn't hurt for something to happen to CP3, D-Will, Westbrook, Kidd(LOL), etc.

I think he is only going to grow even more and become a better player. He just has some things to work on this off-season but if he gets them down, he can be great.

Well Gallinari has soreness in his forearm, and although it's reported that he will probably participate in the 3 point shootout, he may withdraw you never know. Maybe Brooks will get his chance then?

He won the mens college three point shoot out in 07 while playing for Oregon, then lost to the girl who had won the womens 3pt shoot out. ;)

Man this is actually looking like an Aaron Brooks curse. See Brooks doesn't get selected in the All-star game a whole heap of players go down and now with Bryant likely out and other backup candidates out like Elis and Bynum Brooks may eventually get the call.

Kind of Funny but this may be true :)

Brooks is a great shooter. His 3P% is just slightly below .400 this season.

ive always felt he was his own worst enemy...when he's motivated, upset, or challenged he seems to bring it like an all-star. It's like the guy can turn it on when he wants, but in the past he didnt always seem to want it....hopefully that's changing.

And he delivers in bulk too.

He hits more 3s per game than anyone except Gallinari (who is ahead of him by 0.1)
