This is my feeling also. The Rockets told that to Bullard for the broadcast, they told it to Feigen for the paper and they're telling it to Berman for the local news. I think this means the Rockets aren't happy with the offers they've gotten and are trying to drive up the price. They know that the way it ended with T-Mac created the perception that they have to move him, so I'm sure other teams are trying to take advantage of that. Ultimately I think they will move T-Mac, even if it's just for similar expirings and some kind of positive.

Man, this is going to drive me nuts until Tmac is finally moved. I've been going to clutchfans 3x more than usual and I actually got to the point of clicking the ads here just for kicks.

Have any nice tidbits to share with us after this is all over, Clutch? I hope so! We've certainly garnered a lot of interest, that's for sure. I've noticed a definite ramping up of the traffic on the site, which I figured had to be because of interest in a possible trade involving McGrady. It used to take big news (as in an actual trade, lol!) or a big game to generate over 700 folks eyeballing the BBS... now we're getting that on T-Mac trade speculation. Pretty crazy!

Every time there's a big trade rumor surrounding the Rockets something totally out of left field that nobody ever expected comes about and it's usually a pleasant surprise. I'm hoping this will be the case once again.

Wonderful. He just needs to be at the Rockets podium with and eye-patched Adelman laughing in the corner.

Why do I have the feeling that as soon as I fall asleep Adrian Wojo is going to break some HUGE news on this front?

trade him ALREADY!! okay we let stacy expire and have our sights on who??
    Dwade is staying in Miami
Bosh is probably gonna head to New York for the money.
    Lebron is staying in Cleveland.
Joe Johnson is gonna stay in Atlanta.
Don't think we can do a sign a trade with TMac because we're gonna get crap for him.
Just do the deal for Butler and Haywood because Butler will be great in our system and Haywood is okay for his size.
    Butler is good!!

We cannot get AI or Butler, because they have too many tatoos and ruin our perfect current ratio...

That must be why we are losing.

Despite popular belief I think we could be alright with just a star-ish two guard. Butler or AI would be fine in my opinion. The Lakers are probably the one team that you have to go through to get out of the West. We almost beat them last year with unknowns. And won game 1 with Ron and Yao together. I think if we would have had Yao that entire series we could have won. The guys now, plus Yao and a guy like Butler or AI, who is probably more efficient than Ron(though I like Ron, and wanted to keep him) I think could get us out of the West. I would certainly feel like we had a chance. Right now things are kind of a downer. Hopefully we make the playoffs.
