Thunder forward Kevin Durant will defend his title in the H-O-R-S-E competition at All-Star weekend. Durant will face off against Boston's Rajon Rondo and Sacramento's Omri Casspi this weekend. He won the inaugural competition last year in Phoenix, beating Atlanta's Joe Johnson and O.J. Mayo of Memphis. Source: ESPN Think this is a fail, how is Rondo supposed to win a contest full of difficult Jump Shots and 3s  Also, last years lineup was far better.
Having Rando in the HORSE competition is a joke. Durant can easily destroy him, even just from the free throw line.
lol any player in the nba can hit threes, even a guy like chuck hayes who is known to possess no jumpshooting abilities is able to knock down a high percentage of threes when standing still and without any defense. therefore rondo is more than capable of hitting whatever shot kd sets up
Exactly that is why any player in the nba can hit his free throws at a high percentage. Right Shaq and Chuck
Well gosh, why don't they just hand him the trophy? Rondo isn't a good shooter, and Casspi isn't that great either (just was on a tear earlier in the season). I guess Rondo could make some pretty tricky lay-ups.
Definitely agree. Maybe it was the sprained knee that held him back from being selected? Or maybe not, I don't know. But, why Cassipi? I'm sure they could have gotten some one more marquee than that. Its like that Adidas commercial showing a pickup game of KG, Billups, Howard, Duncan, and then in trots in Farmar....what?!
Durant will beat rondo w/only 3 pointers, and casspi w/ difficult dunks...they shoudlve Put someone else 2 play durant this is a joke
I was bored out of my mind watching the h-o-r-s-e competition last year. It seemed as though they threw that thing together in 5 mins. Hopefully it's a little more entertaining this time around
