Let's face it, living in hot 'n humid Houston, it's VERY important to use some type of antiperspirant/deodorant especially at this time of the year. Of course, you'll occasionally run into someone who does not believe in using these wonderful creations, but that's for another thread.:) It's not 100% perfect but I've settled on Arrid XX - ultra clear(cool shower). It works remarkably well(no arm-pit sweat outlines) under normal everyday "activities of daily living" and continues to smell good for a long time. So what product do you prefer and can it stand up to the "arm-pit sweat outline" test?:D

hey Hydra, how did you become such a big Rockets fan? Did you use to live here? You sure don't seem to like Cali teams all that much(NOT that there's anything wrong with that of course). Just curious.....:)

I use Old Spice Original...the white stuff that comes out in a paste type form. Not the clear stuff, which feels much too moist to my liking.

    Cool Water.

But I think I am allergic to it by now, it irritates my skin. Who knows, might cause skin cancer :(.

Actually, I think you can. It comes out as a white paste, but once it goes on my arm it kind of dissapates (sp?) enough that you don't really see it. :)

Funny story, my friend and I were in Walgreens the other day, and I noticed a foul stench emanating from his general direction. Turned out that he forgot his deodorant. So he says to me, he says "Yo...dude. I'm gonna steal some deodorant."
    I says "Man...that is insane."
He says "I'm gonna do it, I swear to God I am."
So we proceed to the area where they sell medicines and toothpastes and deodorants. He opens a brand new stick of Old Spice, the blue stuff, and with two quick swipes he managed to eliminate his smelliness.
He put the cap back on, put the stick back on the shelf and we left. Makes you think twice about buying deodorant don't it?

Don't stick or roll-on deodorants have a protective cap/cover that has to be taken off first? If its damaged, don't buy it. If it doesn't have one, don't buy it.

Yeah, I used to use Right Guard gel, but it crusts up in your armpits...not a good sight. So now I use Old Spice clear stick, Fresh Scent.

I tried Armani, CKOne and Dolce and Gabbana. They all pretty much sucked for something that runs $20. Now I've settled on some liquid Brut and it works awesome.

Something else to consider which made me change the type of AP i was using is that apperently some of these APs contain aluminium which has been linked to skin cancer. I'm not sure if this is true, just heard it on the radio recently.
