More of a rant than anything else, but I live in middle Tennessee about an hour from Nashville. But lately I am thinking that I live in *****ing Seattle! Did you know that since January 1 - we have had 14, FOURTEEN, days of sun??!! And we have only had FOUR *****ING days of sun since January 15!! At the end of January, we had some bad ice that caused schools to get out early and ruined that weekend. Now we have rain which I guess is better than the alternative which for us is sleet and freezing rain along with ice. However, rain with 20 to 25 degree windchills isn't really a lot better. I'm just tired of the sky being constantly grey and black. It is like a permanent raincloud has stayed over where I live. Don't know about you guys in TX but this weather in TN has been piss poor awful. And still like 40 more days til spring?? Yipee..
Its that damn Al Gore compound and all the carbon its saving. Its causing the region to cool. "Thanks Al..you jerk" (as i froze this morning on my way to work)
Just be happy you don't live in northeast Arkansas. We've had 14 inches of snow an 2 inches of ice the past two weeks. Doesn't sound like a lot but it is for a region that is not used to these amounts.
I like this weather. I hate paying $200 electricity bills. last couple of bills have been less than $80 Hooray for cold!
Boo-hoo. Here in the DC area we just got 24 inches of snow over the weekend and their is likely to be another 15-20 inches over the next two days! It's a mess.
I dont like all this wind, cold, rain, and having to walk to school then accidentally stepping in a water puddle. Having to turn around, and go back home to change your shoes and socks, because you had to stepped in the puddle of water (and the worst feeling ever is having on wet socks on all day.) Being late for class, and pray my laptop doesnt get wet. Not getting a chance to get breakfast because you had to turn around, and you have no breaks all day. and last but not least the gas bill goes from 15 bucks to 100, fml.
We have had about the same amount of sun, but on top of that we currently have about 2 foot of snow on the ground. I'm working from home today cause I wasn't about to go out in this garbage! I love looking at snow, I just don't love other people driving in it!
It's crazy, because it's been a pretty nice winter here in Seattle. There's been a lot more sun and short sleeve days than usual. The only snow I saw this year was when I was visiting Houston.
Expecting a rain/snow mix in Houston off and on Thursday morning thru Friday morning. Dallas may pick up a few inches of snow.
I'm with ya, brutha. I spent over 5 hours shoveling snow Sunday and yesterday, and I'm still only about halfway to getting my car out of the back alley.
Annapolis Maryland here, 8 more inches of snow and we will break the all time snowfall record for a single year. ( It will happen tonight ) p.s. Moved from Spring TX last summer, so this is still fun for me  Plus the kids really dig it.
Friday night the Pittsburgh area got nailed with two feet of snow and I went from Friday night til Monday without power. Forgive me if I don't feel sorry for you! Edit: 6-10 more inches falling as we speak!
got good friends in Pegram, just west of NashVegas, they got a good ten inches Spoiler of snow last week, more coming tonight...
