Huffman is indeed working out with Rocket coaches today. So is Tyrone Washington, the center out of Mississippi State that we drafted in the second round last season. Info on Washington is available in the 1999 Draft report if you need the memory jogged a bit. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Watch out Piggie! Curious thought: is Tyrone as good as Moises right now? Same athleticism and rawness. Looks like he has the aggression, but not the outside shot. Personally, a PF with an outside shot in college is often an excuse for being soft. One this is for sure, a two-time SEC all-conf 2nd teamer is the same as a Pac-10 first teamer. Plus, he has one year on Moises. Here's how he did in Italy. He did well, except it looks like he lost an inch. http://www.telebasket.com/player_info.asp?id_player=10815 [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited June 12, 2000).]
Clutch, any chance in the Rocks trying out that other second rounder, v. Hamilton? You picked him to be better than Tyrone anyway, right? ------------------ He who stands for nothing will fall for anything.
How does a guy lose an inch? Ask Lorraina Bobbit! OUCH! ------------------ We need some meat in the post!
Crisco, I don't think he needs a question mark. All his sentences could be construed as assertions. However, he does need a period or a semi-colon between "Huffman" and "he sounds" instead of a comma. Those two clauses are independent and can't be joined by a comma. ------------------ http://www.gaffordstudios.cjb.net/ [This message has been edited by JuanValdez (edited June 12, 2000).]
oh, I understand. But if they are all assertions, then where is the question? Ay!! I give up. My short tenure as the punctuation police is terminated. Long live Juan Valdez and Achebe! Pimp: That last post in combination with your sig is hilarious. ------------------ I have a special purpose.
Huffman and Washington in today with nobody else scheduled the rest of the week? I can hardly control my enthusiasm! ------------------
LOL! I hear ya grummett but I think that will change soon .... not sure. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
clutch..tyrone is still ours right we are the only team he can go to or do we not have his rights still/? ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
9 more to go HP before you hit the 2K mark! I was wondering what happened to those guys. The fact that we still have the rights to them might be useful since we desperately need some big bodies. ------------------ We need some meat in the post!
If Washington turns out to be even bench material, that would be a big bonus. Any improvement over Pig, Carlos or TMass would be welcome. I am most interested in Huffman, he sounds intriguing. I wonder why no other team has picked him up yet. Perhaps that answers my question. DaDakota ------------------
How does a guy lose an inch? LOL. Anyways, thanks for the info, thought those second rounders were gone and never coming back. Nice to see one coming back. ------------------ Check out the new and improved Draftsource.net
Since you corrected my probly, I think you need a question mark DaDakota. And how is your question answered? ------------------ I have a special purpose.
yes that is correct, unless they come to camp and the Rockets cut him!! Then the Rockets lose his rights. Clutch so what happened to Venson Hamilton? He was supposed to be better than Kenny Thomas!!! ------------------
daddakota he is going to work out with more teams if the rockets wont sign him teams like the raptors rhe nuggets and more are interasted according to papers here: "ageinst the eyes of Rudy T, one of the gratest NBA coaches in the NBA, Nate Huffman made his first practice in Houston. Huffman arruved only yeasterday morning to Houston, and 1 hour after his arrivel he had practised with 7(!!) more guys and than he was suppused to meet personaly the cohaching staff. Huffman is suppused to fly and work out with the sonics..." ------------------ The holy land #1 rocket fan
Where are both of the Hamiltons? Thomas and Venson, If Thomas followed the exact opposite diet of Shawn Kemp then he'd be a good bench player. As for Venson I also thought he'd be a nice backup. I still had Kenny as the best Rocket pick though. ------------------ I AM SPARTACUS
How does a guy lose an inch? LOL. Swimming for long periods of time in cold water has been scientifically shown to cause Shrinkage, perhaps this is the reason behind the loss of the missing inch. ------------------ CUT Tino Isn't it amazing how quickly everyone did a Cat Backflip!!!!!
Well there goes any swimming for me.. ------------------ Check out the new and improved Draftsource.net
Question marks, semi colons, commas...when will the madness ever end? Probly never !!! DaDakota ------------------
